- The digital counter on the back end of the Spray, which faces the user, shows an accurate percentage of the current vial's remaining supply.
- A sensor on the front of the Spray will trigger a vibration throughout the tool when it is hovered over an area of the injury it detects as being the deepest point.
- Similarly, this sensor will emit a beeping sound once it has determined that a sufficient amount of bacta has been administered to the injury, to ensure efficient use.
- A dial on the side of the Spray allows the user to choose the level of pressurization of the bacta, giving great flexibility depending on the situation.
- Portable, Convenient: Small and lightweight, the Type-2 Bacta Spray, much like its sibling product is designed for individuals to use on the field as much as it is designed to be used in a medcenter. Able to fit into many different varieties of medkits, backpacks, holsters, or attach to belts, the Type-2 proves no burden to its operator.
- Surface Effective: Designed to deal especially with flesh wounds and surface-level injuries such as bruises and cuts, whereas its counterpart the Type-1 is designed for deeper wounds and internal damage. The Type-2 Bacta Spray with its pressurized spray of bacta can quickly clear away any trace of a lesser injury ever having been there while conserving bacta effectively.
- Smart Tech: Utilizing Nakaioma Medical's smart technology much like the LifeScan Pro, the Type-2 Bacta Spray maximises efficiency by locating the most damaged areas of a patient, and once bacta is being sprayed, notifying the operator of when the sufficient amount has been used. Saving supplies from being wasted, and ensuring the supplies that are used, are used to their fullest extent.
WEAKNESSES
- Severe Injuries: A sacrifice for its small size, the Type-2 Bacta Spray is not designed to heal more serious, or larger-scale injuries, although it can ease pain, or heal a patient long enough for them to be transferred to a medical facility capable of treating them. It is primarily intended to deal with less serious injuries, or to patch more serious ones up to an extent that they can become manageable.
A specialized high-pressure aerosol variant of the Type-1 Bacta Applicator (Which utilizes bacta in its thick conventional form), the Type-2 Bacta Spray is a multipurpose personal medical tool developed by Nakaioma Medical for the civilian and military market. Accepting bacta aerosol canisters into the bottom of its handle much like a slugthrower pistol would do would a magazine of ammunition, the Type-2 Bacta Spray was released with the intention of filling an important requirement for a tool capable of quickly and cleanly dealing with flesh wounds and other surface level injuries, situations where the Bacta Applicator, designed for deep wounds and internal damages, would be too messy and a waste of precious bacta in the field. Coming out of the box with much of the same smart technology as other NKMedical products, including its counterpart, the Type-2 is able to interface with the All-Purpose Medical Shield, as well as the N5 Optical Implant to instantly relay information on what the recommended amount of spray is needed for a specific injury, as to maximise efficiency. In the event neither of these products are with the user, it is also able to inform them via a small screen on the back user-facing end of the device itself. Small, lightweight and fast-acting, the Type-2 Bacta Spray is best suited in the inventory of any paramedic or prepared individual and makes for a good pairing with the Type-1 Bacta Applicator.
