STRENGTHS
- Solid: With good overall protection and relatively light weight, the armour is capable of taking a beating while keeping its wearer alive
- Modular: Featuring plenty of room and mounts to modify the armour, it can fill various roles
- Insulated: The armourweave body glove seals up with the helmet to keep the wearer safe in harsh conditions or the vacuum of space.
- Polymer: To help with keeping the wearer’s signature lower, the armour is covered with a basic triprismatic polymer coating.
WEAKNESSES
- Basic: Aside from the helmet, the suit doesn’t offer much in the way of technology.
- Force/lightsabers: The design doesn’t offer protection against force users and their iconic weapons.
- Polymer: The basic polymer coating is only meant to make the wearer a bit harder to detect, not to hide them from scanners and sight completely.
- Bulky: The trade off for reliable protection is the physical size of the armour.
DESCRIPTION
The iconic main armour of Hex Incorporated’s private army, the Type 68 personal protection kit is a basic design meant to give excellent protection for a very affordable price. To keep the reliability and cost low, the armour lacks plenty of advanced technology but sports high modularity to make up for it.
A big advantage of the armour is the helmet, which makes up a big portion of the price. Featuring plenty of useful systems and features, the helmet serves to make up for other technology not featured as standard in the armour.
