STRENGTHS

• Silent: Heavily based on Verpine shatter gun design, the rifle is very quiet when firing and operating.
• Range: With a powerful scope and targeting computer, the weapon can fire accurately over very long distances.
• Power: The rifle sports a ludicrous damage output capable of penetrating thick armour and wreaking havoc on whatever it hits.
• Ammunition: The rifle can fire just about any solid object that can fit in the magazine and barrel. It can also utilize non-lethal rounds or ’dust’ when killing isn’t desired

WEAKNESSES

• Recoil: While very smooth to operate and use overall, the weapon does have a tendency to kick when fired.
• Magazines: With a small amount of rounds in a magazine, the rifle can run through ammunition very quickly
• Fragile: Due to the Verpine design, the rifle is very fragile and not suitable for front line usage.
• Cycling: The electromagnetic firing mechanism takes a bit to recharge for the next round, slowing the weapon’s rate of fire.

DESCRIPTION
A very expensive rifle to produce, the Type 77 is a highly specialized rifle designed for very niche situations. Primarily used by highly trained and elite Hellion mercenaries, or an entity that officially doesn’t exist, the rifle has proven to be exceptionally powerful and capable of reaching targets at ludicrous distances.

However, it does come at a cost. Despite its price, the rifle itself is very fragile which drastically limits its usage to only covert operations, police enforcement, high value targets and similar operations, where the rifle isn’t at risk of being damaged by excessive force.
