STRENGTHS

• Sealed: The vehicle has plenty of systems in place to keep the crew safe and allow them to fight in a variety of environments.
• Firepower: The vehicle sports a powerful mass-driver cannon capable of launching a variety of shells at incredible distances, as well as a roof mounted repeater for security.
• Automatic: The cannon is fed by an automatic loading mechanism and an ammunition magazine separated from the crew compartment.
• Secure: With a shield generator as well as surprisingly thick armour, the Type 86 is quite safe from limited counterattacks or perimeter breaches.
• Movement: With four deployable legs as well as integrated repulsorlifts, the Type 86 can move around and deploy under its own power.

WEAKNESSES

• Coating: The triprismatic polymer coating is only meant to keep its signature low, not to camouflage the vehicle entirely
• Defence: While relatively safe, the howitzer’s defenses can be easily overwhelmed with sufficient firepower.
• Ammunition: The onboard magazine can run out very quickly, requiring a lengthy reloading process before it’s operational again.
• Explosive: The reactor in the vehicle could result in an enormous explosion if damaged, further exacerbated by extra munitions.

DESCRIPTION
With experience from decades of combat seen over dozens of battlefields, a flaw in Hellion doctrine began to develop due to the evolution of warfare on a galactic scale. Eventually the need for a dedicated long range artillery weapon began to form.

The result of the research and development became the Type 86 Mobile Howitzer. Sporting powerful weapons and decent security for a rear echelon vehicle, the machine is a deadly device, whether it’s on its own or in conjunction with other forces.
