STRENGTHS
Old Reliable: The Hound is designed to take after its namesake, a loyal hound who you can rely on through thick and thin. The weapon is incredibly reliable, rarely jamming, able to survive within most environments no matter how dirty, scraped up, or even dented.
Thraedar Networking: The Hound is capable of linking up to the HUD of Thraedar armor, vehicles, and etc, allowing it to show where its slugs will likely impact through a digital indicator on the armor's internal visor screen, as well as keeping the user updated on how many slugs are left in the magazine, and indicates any issues within the weapon's hardware.
WEAKNESSES
Ammunition Bulk: Magazines are large compared to compact cells used for blaster rifles. This means ammo for the Hound can be limited, or must be strapped on to the individual reducing maneuverability, or simply stored nearby.
DESCRIPTION
The U.T.N. Hound was the first weapon designed and manufactured by the Thraedar Colonial Fleet on its long trek to this galaxy, and their future home. Many believed it was premature to assume that the galaxy would have hostiles within it, fewer even believed the galaxy would be barren of life all together. Yet the governing body of the fleet, the United Thraedar Navy, was a military organization with a military mindset: assume and prepare for the worst. On the trek over, the U.T.N. would go on to develop the Hound as well as other weapons, armors, vehicles, and spaceship designs that would secure the success of their mission no matter the odds.
