Cornet City, Corellia
Apartment of Delila Castillon-Solo and [member="Brad Solo"]
Life Day Eve ; Dusk
As the sun was setting over Cornet City, Delila looked out the window below, drinking from a caf mug that read Redheads Do It Best. Her outfit was somewhat unusual though. Delila wore a dark blue sweater with dancing bears across the bottom and a comfortable pair of dark-washed trousers. The sweater was hideous. Something old blind ladies wore in nursing homes all across the Galaxy. Yet this was the point. The uglier the sweater the better.
Behind her, food lay out on the kitchen countertops and a roast was still going in the oven. Wine sat chilling in the fridge, along with some ale and various other alcoholic beverages. Consider it a grown-up Life Day celebration. It seemed to be better to have it now than actually on Life Day, when one most likely wanted to spend time doing what they wished. Following a Solo-Family tradition, there would be a gift exchange as well. Delila was just hoping they didn't have to play and idiotic, drunken-fueled games. No one wanted to be half-cocked trying to play charades.
Stepping away from the window, Delila finished her caf and washed the mug, putting it away. [member="Hawk Solo"] and [member="Samantha Solo"] would be arriving shortly to enjoy the gathering. She was unsure who else was invited. Didn't Hawk have some adopted son? Dells wasn't so sure, trying to keep up with everyone involved a manual.
"Brad, did you fall in?" She called out back to their bedroom jokingly. It was like trying to drag a beauty queen away from that mirror sometimes.

Alright, this is a past rp, maybe set 6 or so years ago. Brad and Dells are freshly married, so everything is still grand. We decided it would be fun to host a Solo Family party. Feel free to invite those closest to you -- dates, children, friends, etc. Just be sure to wear and ugly sweater.
