PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

• Description: Ukvax the Gilded, Duke of Stalgasin Hive, is best described as a short, small Geonosian; an insectoid creature. Meager yet functional wings protrude from his back; he possesses “mutton-chop” like tentacles on the sides of his face, which droop down past his cheeks and slightly extend outward. His mandibles give off a distinctive click, for both pairs have been ornamentally modified with a similar metal-alloy to produce a distinctive rasp.
  
  Green-gray chitin and black, horizontal “pupils” with orange “eyes” complete the picture of an unsettling creature; with his shoulders and body festooned with bronze-silver-gold armor imbued with obsidian shards to give it a spackled appearance. His head ridges curl to fan out into a short crest which is beset with a jeweled diadem; a member of Geonosian aristocracy merits him with such ornamentation upon his body.
  
  His epithet of the Gilded is not unearned after all.

• Special Accessories: His gold-silver-bronze ceremonial armor festooned with jewels and spackled with shards of obsidian, which is in the traditional style of Geonosian Aristocracy. He’s quite fanciful too, with bangles, a jeweled diadem, and rings.

INVENTORY

He does have a cane, and a ceremonial, blunted sword he uses for display purposes.

Geonosian Aristocratic Ceremonial Armor, made out of bronze, silver, gold, and obsidian shards infused into the metallurgical alloy to give it a black-spackled appearance.

Holocommunicator, commlink, jewelry (obsidian-gold-silver-bronze alloy), datapad, varying other equipment. A cane made from Acklay chitin, sentient bone, and tipped with the claw of a Nexu that curls outward.

A Geonosian-created protocol droid made specifically for translator work. Has been purchased. Has an unsettling appearance where it looks roughly humanoid, but has “compound eyes” as well as insectile features.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

• Cool-headedness is a particular facet of Ukvax’s character; he’s particularly able to keep a calm composure even in the most dire of situations. Mainly and pragmatically due to his need to maintain control, even over himself as well.
  
  
• Intelligence is another one of Ukvax’s strongest traits; he’s a Geonosian of a particularly industrious Hive, and owing to his upbringing from his youth. It’s fitting he’s a genius when it comes to his matters of expertise.
  
  
• Loyalty is something Ukvax rarely expresses, but to those few trusted colleagues he has, Ukvax is willing to trade away generously-precious gifts as a show of respect and also to build calculated relationships.

• Cold-hearted in particularly strong manners, Ukvax, like many if not all of the Geonosian Aristocratic Caste, is cold. He’s indifferent at best to the suffering of the lesser castes; he will only pause any cruelties if it cuts into his profit margins or his own amusement. That, in conjunction with his insectoid nature, means he prefers to keep his temperament under lock and key.
  
  
• Paranoia, especially around other Geonosians of his Hive, or those he perceives as subsuming his rule, is high. He’s not adverse to ensuring rivals of his within the Stalgasin Hive are disgraced and sent to the arena to be slaughtered. He desires control, after all.
  
  
• Greed is a strong facet of Ukvax’s motivations, not just material greed, but also the greed of power via control. He wants to control Geonosis, whether it be directly with all of the Hives under his command, or indirectly as the largest and most powerful Hive upon the planet so that others must acknowledge his prestige.

STRENGTHS

Ukvax is of average strength for a Geonosian, particularly not advanced, but not below-average either. Fitting, given his healthier diet and more stout constitution.

Speed: As fast as an average Geonosian would be, including flight. Geonosians are deft and quick creatures by nature, but not focused on this attribute, and so too does Ukvax show this. Agility: Ukvax is of average agility and reflexes for a Geonosian of the aristocratic caste. This is likely because of the fact that Geonosian Aristocracy, in general, would have a superior diet.

Endurance: Above-average to solidly reliable endurance; his lack of training and even his middle-aged frame still possesses a mean endurance to it and resiliency. Stamina: Above-average and solidly reliable; his ability to withstand exhaustion is considerable compared to most others, even with a hardy race like the Geonosians.

Senses: Bordering on preternatural despite the Geonosians being non force-sensitive as a whole (which he has no force sensitivity), his trained eyes and senses scrutinize everything for threats; befitting the power plays of Geonosian hives.

The aristocratic caste of Geonosis is well-trained in matters of state pertaining to their hives and others, as well as politics, general statesmanship, business, and other such functionary duties. It is fitting that the Duke of Stalgasin Hive is knowledgeable about his Hive’s exports. Such as, of course, battle droids, raw minerals, jewels, and bloodsport.

Intelligent and very much capable of being a plotter of military strategy and tactics, as well as logistics, statesmanship, and politics.

WEAKNESSES

Very much not a combatant, and thus struggles heavily with combat, being short, small, and of a race not renowned for physical stature. Likewise, he's very much a prideful, vain individual, and does not think highly of those who he views as lesser or lower - a trait that can bite him in the buggy backside.

Geonosis.

A world of rough and rugged origin; a world where survival laid in those who were not only tough, but cunning and capable. Over the course of millennia, the Geonosians spread far and wide across the planet even in the wake of its original mass-extinction. Amongst them was the forebears of the Stalgasin Hive, and that of Ukvax’s original ancestors. The Stalgasin Hive, founded upon an actively industrious region of Geonosis, garnered its wealth and fortune from not only the traditional industries of droid manufacturing, but that of bloodsport.

Amongst the Aristocracy of Stalgasin Hive stood Ukvax the Gilded, who was young when he became reared by his father. Yet, he despised his father and drone-caretakers; the former because of his inefficient weakness perceived as such in his eyes, and the latter because of their inferiority. When he was an adult and fresh-faced, Ukvax had the prior Archduke exiled (though they remain on... terse, if cordial terms) and secured control of the Stalgasin Hive. It was Ukvax that led the Stalgasin Hive, after a period of slow decline, to becoming a formidable, if moderate, force upon Geonosis. It was Ukvax who reinvigorated the arena with bloodsport, and who enforced his control over the drone masses of the Stalgasin. It was Ukvax who sought to secure dominance, and to avoid the mistakes of his forebears. For in due time…

He will become a true power upon Geonosis, and whether by force or prestige, unite Geonosis under his command once and for all…​
