Variation: The Ultima Patter Variations mainly are attributed to the colour pattern and inner workings of the pistols along with caliber of the bolt used. The MKI using a smaller caliber allowing general use while the MkIII uses a higher caliber, more reserved for the soon to be space marines, while the MkIII is in between, designated for other special forces.

Strengths:

• High Caliber: Even the lower caliber variation of the pistol it still packs a punch, easily on par with heavy blasters and more due to it's specialized rounds. This allowing it to punch through even good quality armor and even lightly armored vehicles if hitting a weak spot.

Weaknesses:

• Kick Back: The caliber used and general size of the pistol when compared to more conventional weapons means the Ultima has quite the kick back.
• Low Ammo: Compared to most standard pistols the 6-10 rounds that this weapon usually caries is quite low and will thus require more reloading intervals.

Description
Slug throwers while still used are more or less very archaic in the modern Galaxy, with more top of the line beam and blaster weapons rolling off the block each day. With this vast improvement in blaster weaponry and most slugthrowers staying they way they are the Impeirum of Tythe looked to increase the legality of slug weapons to put them on an equal or higher playing field.

Starting off with a pistol type of weapon the Mechanicum attempting to make such a weapon, putting to use the Bolt ammunition, a process that turned a basic slug into a sort of mini RPG. Though running into some troubles along the way the techpriests of the cult managed to make a pistol like weapon to fit the Imperiums needs using the supplied ammunition.

Though a little over sized and needing to almost be hand crafted to avoid and mistakes that could cause the weapon to blow up in the users face the Ultima Bolt Pistol was quickly adopted into the Tythish Military. The fine craftsmanship and work put into such a weapon almost makes wielding it seem like a honor, the religious fanaticism of the Mechanicum kind of washing over to those that use it.

Regardless the effectiveness of the weapon and it unique nature made it popular among those able to use it properly.

So normally I try not to be too much of a stickler on using weapon ideas from other fictional universes. However this is basically an exact copy of the Bolt Pistol from Warhammer. Due to this fact I am denying this submission for violating Factory Rules. If you proceed with a second chance I recommend you try to mix up the function/features of the weapon so it does not seem like you pulled it straight from the Warhammer Wiki.
