I am sure most of you are unaware of the falklands islands, but I know lot of people who fought there back in 1982.
I wondering is the UN trying to start another war there, by siding with Argentina over the sea area surrounding the british protectorate.
Seeing I don't have many people who I know from outside uk, on my normal Social networks.
I was wondering if anyone else had any perspective on this, as a lot people I know are outrage by a UN ruling (which is not binding).
That know put the falklands island in argentine territory.

Just wondering if anyone else had views on the ruling, as hate to lose more people I know over there.

It seemed to me a misunderstood issue. The mistake was made under the perception that they had the right to say things as official that are in no way such. Plus from what I heard the people there are adamant that they do not appreciate the changes so it will be corrected soon enough I think.

Though I haven't done any real reading on it, just what I have heard.

Yeah but it Argentina that worries me, as they look for anything to make Falklands islanders life worse. They might try uses this as an excuse, to up the pressure.

True, but as well as that is the likelihood that the UN will feel the necessity to step in and right their wrongs.
