Unanticipated Visitations

PA'DESH, THE OLD FORT
Northern Tower, Prison Cell 9

"Wakey wakey," The man snapped, slapping the prisoners cheek with a leather glove. He pressed back, allowing the captive to slowly awake while keeping his distance. Once satisfied, he continued. "Well, well, well." The man drawled, voice rich with a sort of sarcastic mirth. His voice dripped with authoritative condescension as he paced back and forth., boots clicking against stone. The force user would find that he was shackled to a chair, in a dimly lit, stone room.

"Seems you're a rather interesting sort." The man mused. At a glance, he was clean cut with slicked back hair, black uniform and a cigarette hooked betwixt two gloved fingers as he moved back and forth. "Don't get many visitors these days, so," He paused, and turned to the force-user, "Who do you work for?" He asked, eyebrow quirked. "Who are your masters, master Jedi?"

Dreyton would gasp as his face his torqued to one side, the stinging sensation slowly being replaced by a numb sensation at the force of the blow. He'd take a few breaths to try to calm himself, then close his eyes with a groan. He'd jerk his arm up as the man starts talking, before finding that he is restrained and his saber is no where in the room. He would groan again as he realized how stupid he was, something like this was bound to happen. He should've been more on guard.

The compliment, if you could really call it that, caused a sarcastic grin to spread over his face as he would mumble "Thanks, I try.." before looking up to the man with raised eyebrows and an expecting look, waiting for him to get to the point. He had to refrain from pointing out how if you kidnap people they tend to not want to visit. Yet he felt biting his tongue would keep him alive a little longer if they planned to kill him. Who did he work for though? This would actually cause him to chuckle "I am my own master-" he'd stretch his fingers, trying to see how tight the restraints are "And please, just call me by my name, I assume you know it."

The man shrugged, "We haven't gotten to such details," He conceded with a wry smile. "We have dispatched a group at the behest of local authorities to examine your vessel, so we may perhaps yet find them." The agent then paused before him, and put his gloves in a pant pocket before dragging a lighter from his pocket, and ignited it. His eyes fluttered back and he rolled his head on his neck, before he took a long breathe out. Smoke billowed out of his slightly open lips.

"But the question, other than names," He paused and approached closer, leaning into his personal space. "Because names, to be frank, in my line of work are superfluous." The officer allowed a brief chuckle. "Is what one Jedi finds, stumbling into the midst of the lions den?" He inquired, "Why did you come here, to Pa'Desh?" He asked, a blank, disconcerting stare now coming over his aged features. "Why did you come here?"

"Honestly, if I told you I don't think you'd believe me." He would look up at the man, before shaking his head and grunting "But before you hit me.. I was here looking for a certain group of people who are rather unpopular. I'm here to sign up." He would grin back at the man before leaning back in his chair and closing his eyes. "I assume these people would be rather skeptical of why in the world I, a Jedi as you call me, would want to join up with them. Just know I'm not some secret agent. I am a terrible liar after all."

It was true, Dreyton was the worst at lying. He hoped that they believed him because this definitely sounded like one. At this point leaving with his life would be a win for him, yet he mind as well try to achieve his goal while he was here. Yet, he wasn't even entirely sure this man was with the order. Maybe he was just some hired thug for some crime syndicate he stumbled on. If so, he'd like to know before he starts formulating an escape and extermination plan.
