The Under-Barrel Sonic Blaster is a small weapon that attaches to a rifle’s bottom rail, providing the soldier with significantly more options on the battlefield. Often soldiers rely on their primary weapon in combat, and cannot carry around more than just a few. ArmaTech began the approach that one primary weapon could fulfill multiple necessary roles, buy providing under-barrel attachments.
Like all Sonic Blasters it fires a a sphere of condensed Sonic energy, encapsulated within a containment sphere. Upon rupture of that sphere it would explode in an omni-directional blast, which could cause death or serious injury to living beings, possibly rupturing their internal organs. Against inanimate objects and armored opponents it could cause stress fractures in the metal or plastics of the victim.
