Strengths:
- Tractor Beam Technology: The tractor beam waves emitted are disruptive to a sentient's body on a cellular level making this a deadly weapon. The waves are also invisible which can be advantageous. It also allows great versatility to a soldier on the battleground such as - freezing a target in one place, moving obstacles out of the way and etc.
- Short range: At an optimum range of 35m the under-barrel tensor cannon is limited to closer ranges unlike other under-barrel attachments such as grenade launchers.
- Size matters: The larger the object that the beam attempts to capture the less control it has on it. Thus, at some point, its effects completely diminish.
- Hates turtles: If the beams do not hit a non-armored part of the target, then they cannot disrupt the sentient on a cellular level.
- Noisy: Don't even think of going stealth with his. Just don't.
DESCRIPTION
Gad Ignashevic, Corondex's chief of operations, initially designed the under-barrel tensor cannon in mind to supply combat engineer roles around the galaxy. Eventually, he realized that it could be very well tailored for any soldier on the battleground. Gathering a team of engineers of the Squib race - a race known for their prowess in designing weapons utilizing the tractor beam technology. Intent on making it a supportive function rather than a primary arm, Ignashevic and his team decided on creating an under-barrel attachment rather than a whole primary weapon.
The under-barrel tensor cannon is a deadly weapon capable of either firing a barrage to rattle a biological target on a cellular level.

As it is mostly used, just like a tractor beam (duh) capable of holding targets in place or even attempting to displace them like a puppet on strings. It can also attempt to forcefully disarm the target i.e firing the stream of tractor beam at one's weapon and then tossing it away. Alsol, it can grasp at the leg of a target and send it the opposite way of movement making the target trip. Moreover, it can use debris to its own ends.
The possibilities are endless as long as one has the brain.
