Under the Zeltros Stars - Open to all

Life day had come and gone. The festive holiday had found Toni lying on a beach in the Outer Rim, trying to press her body low enough to avoid the hail of blaster fire that had taken down the corpses she had been surrounded by. Ironic that on the day that we all celebrate life she would be surrounded by so much death. But that was over.

Afterwards the gunslinger had spent 2 weeks trekking through fields and dodging angry farmers, just trying to survive as she made her way to the extraction point with the survivors of her team. Needless to say, she missed all the holiday festivities. She had to make up for it with a new year’s celebration.

There were many planets known for partying, but Zeltros was one of, if not the, best. So this was where Toni would ring in the new year. She of course, wasn’t going to go without making a few credits on the way to cover the fuel to get there. She offered the Moth as a charter flight to a few select customers who would fit in the barracks. It wasn’t a lot as far as comfort went but it was cheap and she didn’t ask questions as long as they didn’t scuff up her crap. The flight had been uneventful, and at last the Moth was settling on her props in one of the many spaceports on Zeltros.

“Ok, you sour cranks, get your damn butts off my deck unless you’re gonna start paying rent,” Toni shouted as the loading ramp lowered. “And believe me, you can’t afford my rates.”

Her passengers filed out and Toni was left alone in her ship. She retreated to her quarters and quickly closed the door. She popped on a fresh black crop top and reached for her traditional high-rise black flight pants. The woman hesitated. They were familiar, they were forgettable. They were easy to run in and functional as hell in case anything happened. But this was a celebration. She folded and tossed the garment back onto its stack of clothing before reaching in the very back of her closet and pulling out a bright blue and white colored skirt. It had been years since she had last worn it. The gunslinger was surprised it even fit--even though it was more snug around the butt and thighs than she had remembered.

Tonight she would try to stop being Toni the gunslinger and be Lorella the bright eyed young girl who was an upcoming dancer and gymnast. She waltzed down her loading ramp, Toni’s hips swayed with all the confidence in the galaxy as her boots clacked on the durasteel.

Before her the primary star of Zeltros was setting over the beach side. She could see a bondfire to her left where several beings were already beginning the festivities of the new year. She heard music too coming from that direction. She squared her shoulders. Time to figure out what it means to be human again.

Arcus Tetevor

Self-Absorbed Gun for Hire
Life day. That wasn’t something Arcus saw himself celebrating as a bounty hunter. Nevertheless, here he was, watching the dancing flames of the bonfire with a cup of ardees in his hand. He was still a Tatooine boy at heart. I can’t believe I’ve dragged myself to this” he thought to himself as he took a sip of his fermented beverage. It had been his New Years’ Resolution to try to be more social as he often found himself bored and secluded. Of course, this did have it’s benefits as he wouldn’t have to place his trust in somebody. Arcus felt out of place, he didn’t belong with these common, decent folk. Although he was dressed like an ordinary, honest citizen and trying his best to act like one it was clear that he wasn’t. Somewhat jaded, he stuck his hand in the sand and began playing with the grains as he looked onward beyond the fire and in to beautiful sunset of Zeltros.

The outer rim had so much beauty, that he had not seen. It had been a year since he left Tatooine to pursue bigger opportunities. After being so successful in Tatooine, he was struggling since leaving the planet. He had decided to spend a couple of weeks in Zeltros, to take a break. It was a beautiful planet and it was of change of scenery. Holding a cup of ardees instead of a Westar-35 was a refreshing change for him.

Taking in the atmosphere and the sights that Zeltros was pleasant and all but having no one to talk to was driving him mad. "I pray to the stars someone somewhat interesting shows up" he mumbled. He stood up and brushed the sand off himself and downed the rest of his drink.

The music which came from the outdoors club had a strong bassline that made people's heartbeats thud in tandem to the rhythm. The dance floor, which was close to the exotic tiki bar, could be seen from afar as an ever-changing mesh of colors. Like fireflies, people were drawn towards the light of the beach party, or so they thought. The establishment was having its inauguration, and it wasn't a surprise that it was a family business hosted by Zeltrons. Their invisible pheromones were dancing through the Type-I air like the people were on the floor; seductively. The floor was practically covered by the soles of different sentients, the bar was being swarmed by people who wanted to get intoxicated, and people around the bonfire were singing cheerfully to the different songs whilst socialising. It was easy to think that it would be an unforgettable day, as even the stars of the night's sky were shimmering bright. It looked rather perfect - too perfect in Ryder's eyes. But he couldn't complain since he was getting paid.

---
Ryder had arrived on Zeltros about a week ago against his own will. Given that he has no ship to call his own and barely any credits to boot, he's had to resort to hitchhiking for over a decade, which has been both a good thing and a bad thing. On one hand, he's gotten to see a lot of different planets, meeting cultures that would be seen as peculiar in Sacorria, his homeworld. On the other hand, it also means he has no liberty of choosing where to go. He can't exactly plan anything - and this Zeltron that he got a ride from wanted to visit his family for a while, before heading elsewhere. Ryder was grateful that they'd at least be stopping at a planet where he didn't need to try and learn a whole new language; Galactic Base would do the trick.

He felt like the planet was too festive for his liking, as people were dancing about and enjoying themselves practically everywhere. Due to the weather being pristine this time around, the sun Zel flaring brightly above, most general activities were now outdoors. You couldn't exercise without being surrounded by people who were suntanning and dancing. Having something short-sleeved on wouldn't work in the humid weather, so Ryder spent about an hour lifting weights whilst wearing a white tank top and black shorts to boot. Two of the many people present in the outdoors gym were Zeltrons, one male and one female, who approached Ryder around the end of his workout.

The male spoke first, having a somewhat feminine posture with his hip bucking out, as if attempting to be seductive towards Ryder. "Mm, you really put in a lot of work into staying fit, don't you?" The male smiled and winked, before the woman spoke. "Your arms look really good, you know? Your appearance is better than most people around." Given it was the presence of two Zeltrons, who were oozing their pheromones, he couldn't NOT feel flattered by it. "Thank you." The short reply caused a brief silence between the three, which made it awkward. Since he was the one who caused it, he should try and solve it. "So what are you two doing here? Visiting kin, or do you live on Zeltros?"

---
Turns out that they were the owners of the establishment he was now working at. They just wanted a good looking human so that people wouldn't be too suspicious. Why would they be suspicious, you ask? Well, it's not uncommon knowledge that Zeltrons can alter people's emotions - but a human is normally not capable of doing that. He was there just to make people feel more at ease, and they offered a really good pay too. 'Shaving' off foam from a few glasses, whilst shaking up a few drinks according to the instruction manual Ryder was given, he placed them on a large metal tray. Walking away from the tiki bar, he approached those by the bonfire who had ordered drinks. He was now wearing a green button-up shirt with the sleeves rolled up, and some cargo shorts due to the beach environment. He couldn't really afford a good shirt, but it didn't really matter. "Focus on showing off your arms if you can't find something fancy." is what the Zeltron female had said. It clearly worked, since people were gazing at him a lot, and he could feel through their hearbeats that it wasn't negative. "Didn't think I'd be getting fashion advice whilst getting paid." he thought.

He started handing over the drinks all by one, the people around the roaring flame cheering in excitement. He started getting into the mood of the outdoors establishment aswell, partially due to the pheromones in the air, but partially because he enjoyed being in an environment where people weren't being debbie downers all the time. It was one of his issues - his ability to feel people around him made him take note of everyone's body languages. Because of this trait, he took note of the one male who didn't seem too pleased with being here, that being [member=Arcus Tetevor] who had just finished his drink. He felt the vibrations of his lips and understood what the man had thought of.

Ain't sure if I'm interesting, but I can at least make things better.

"Hey, you with the empty drink." upnodding towards Arcus. "You want a refill? It's on the house. I ain't going to walk back here just for one order, though, so you better come to the counter." It's better to give him some small-talk than to have him just sit here on his lonesome, right?

After that, Ryder walked back towards the exotic bar, since he still had a job to do. Whether or not the male took up the offer, it was on him. Ryder's done his part. His blue-and-purple eyes gazed at some of the people passing by, noting [member=Toni Nova] by the distance. He didn't really think much of it, given there were hundreds of people in a wild environment, and it was pretty much the standard to show up dressing nice. He had a passing thought of her hair looking good, though. Since a lot of the people here were Zeltrons, it was mostly pink and blue, but not black. All in all, she looks good. He eventually got back to standing behind of the bar, getting new orders right away.

OOC: Let's keep this thread going! After all, who can say no to a social scene in a beach setting? I sure can't.

Zeltros was a place for party. Wild parties. If you wanted to get high on spices, get drunk while dancing naked at the beach, no one would bat an eyelid. People knew what they had signed up for when they came here. The blonde lady loved parties, but today she was more restrained. Her priority was to secure new models for her fashion house before she got herself drunk, a promise which she planned to keep. She might be wild, but she could still control herself when more important things were at hand. She had arrived in a private hover bike, one of those flashy kinds that was bought with impulse. She had plenty of money to spend anyway. The more important thing was to maintain her image of coolness and style.

"There she is! Veronika!" Members of the crowd muttered among themselves when she walked in, eager hands whipping out their holo devices to capture the famous socialite. Veronika smirked, ignoring the flashes of light and never ending cameras, knowing that they would never end. It was all good for publicity though, so she would not reject them. A few tried to approach her, but were swiftly sent away by a casual thought in her mind. The witch's mental amplitude was her greatest strength, enhanced by the shaman spirit of Jart who had bonded with her. Some Force users needed to wave their hands, but she needed no such movement to achieve the same effect. She set up an aura of "look, but don't disturb me" around her and easily walked through the thick crowd to head to the bar. Pheromones hit her senses, but she had the Force to block them off. No mental distractions needed if she were to pick the right looking people as models.

"Corellian whiskey on the rocks," she muttered to the star stuck bartender who dumbly nodded. She hopped onto the seat and leaned against the counter, eyes glaring around to see who looked suitable. A couple of people caught her eyes, including [member="Toni Nova"], [member="Arcus Tetevor"] and [member="Ryder Zeshatt"]. But she had no idea if they were interested in modeling for her company, so she decided to wait. If she made an announcement that she was hiring, she would end up having a queue appearing in front of her. She could also whisper to the selected people using the Force, but that would spoil the fun. No, she wanted to interact with them personally if the chance permitted. If not, it would be their loss.

He was really enjoying work for once. Due to the natural order of Zeltros, feeling a sense of anxiety was next to impossible, and it allowed him to function just like everyone else. He didn't feel worry whenever he picked up an expensive bottle of liquor, nor did he feel like he could accidentally break the huge counter surrounded by people. It was a blissful feeling, something he hasn't felt for... a lot of years, at the very least.

He felt hearts around the area racing with excitement, though he didn't really know the reason as he was preoccupied with work. There she is! That's [member=Veronika Fleischer]! Unbelievable! Those were the words he could feel on the opposite end of the bar, though they didn't exactly matter to him. Maybe she's someone who tends to show up at popular locations in Zeltros? Ryder certainly wouldn't be the one to know of her identity due to his lack of general knowledge. He was raised at a farm, and he's only heard of celebrities during workbreaks. It was usually males showing a carnal desire for famous women, to the point that their mouths would water just by mentioning their name. Maybe one of them mentioned this Veronika, but it slipped past his mind as something insignificant at the time; knowing the name of a celebrity wouldn't exactly help him get better at construction work.

He finally turned around towards the other end of the tiki bar when the Zeltron, that was supposed to serve this Veronika, was dumbfounded by the whole occasion to the point where he couldn't fulfill the order. Rolling his eyes, he swiftly made way towards the bottle of her desire, pouring up three fourths of the glass before adding three cubes which elevated the alcohol close to the rim. He then placed it on the counter behind of her back, his left knee bending slightly. Arching forward, his elbows were on the counter not far from the drink, before raising his voice. "There you go, love." Unlike the vast majority, his expression was calm and indifferent, though given her apparent popularity, his purple-blue eyes trailed up and down of her physique to see what she was wearing, and if she was one of those celebrities people fawned over due to lust over anything else.

"Hey, you with the empty drink." Arcus turned his head to see he who beckoned him ( [member="Ryder Zeshatt"] ). "You want a refill? It's on the house. I ain't going to walk back here just for one order, though, so you better come to the counter." A grin appeared on Arcus' face. "A refill on the house, who could say no to that?" he said in delight. As Arcus approached the bar he took a brief moment to analyse him. A tall, muscular lad, definitely older than Arcus. "I best not piss you off then." he muttered as he took a seat at the bar. He set his cup down on the counter and stared at the remaining drops of ardees at the bottom of the cup. There was something about the taste of it that he loved, but he just couldn't put his finger on it. Ever since he was 16, when he sneaked his first drink of the fermented beverage he fell in love with it. "Thanks for the offer, I thought I would've died of boredom if you hadn't called me over."

There was a change in the atmosphere. Arcus lifted his head to see what was going on. Manyof the Zeltron's eyes were glued to a blonde woman with an air of confidence surrounding her who taking a seat at the opposite end of the bar. The Zeltron female to the left of Arcus appeared to be full of shock. "[member="Veronika Fleischer"] , I can't believe that is really her!". Arcus snorted and shrugged his shoulders, "I guess they'll make anyone famous." he said aloud as he rolled his eyes. "Where's that refill I was promised?" Everyone seemed to be focused on this Veronika lady. He took a closer look at her. She was definitely something to look at but he didn't understand what all the commotion was about.

He couldn't help but chuckle as his offer instantly cheered the male's mood up. Ryder wasn't someone who was very good at making things right, so seeing someone switch from brooding and silent to a cheerful individual made him feel like he was doing something right. He let a small smile rest on his rugged facial features, eyes settling on the young man as he seated himself in front of the counter. Being in too much of a cheerful mood to realise that he was merely muttering those words, since Ryder could feel the words vibrating through the air, he replied with a hearted laughter. "You shouldn't be worried about pissing me off, lad." The smile he donned was friendly, already taking a liking to the man. "I'm as pacifistic as it gets, and my punches are as soft as a wookie's fur." His eyes drifted towards the near-empty Jawa Juice, shifting about to get Arcus a new canister. "Aye, I could tell that you were bored. To be fair, sitting at a bonfire without any fire-breathers doesn't really... work, when you're alone." He spoke from personal experience, since the people who were sitting contently whilst drinking usually did so in groups.

It was around the time whilst grabbing a hold of Arcus' Ardees that he felt the hearts pounding, and the thoughts in regards to celebrities occured. He rolled his eyes at the statement the male made, as he couldn't agree more. "Seems like anyone with decent looks can become some hotshot." he proclaimed, not knowing much about the stardoms throughout the Galaxy. He straightened up his posture, since it was a bit hard to reach the Ardees without crouching down towards the mini-fridge. "Here's your Ardees, fella." He smiled, not bothering with asking for credits - that was the agreement, after all. He noticed Arcus' eyes trailing towards the woman in question, a few moments before Ryder had to pick up the slack of his Zeltron co-worker. "So what brings you to Zeltros? Just enjoying the young bachelor's life?" took on a more sarcastic tone right after. "Or are you here to find your one true love, just like everyone else around?"

It was a joke even the most drunk people could comprehend - Zeltros wasn't a place to find romance, if anything it is a place to soothe one's lust for alcohol and physical intimacy.

Veronika had caused a small commotion by the time she had gotten to the bar and seemed to bask in the limelight. She knew how to play the game, how to create news so that the media would keep up with her. Her holo device flashed on the table, indicating large volume of comments coming from her fans when someone at the beach party uploaded a video of her in her benchwear. News travelled fast indeed in the holonet.

By the time she picked up her device and did a sneak glance to see the number of virtual likes on her social media platform, someone else had apparently poured her a drink instead of the bartender. Emerald eyes glanced up to stare at the stranger who had offered his help, noticing the violet blue eyes that stared back with no hint of smile on his face.

"Thanks, but next time you should let the bartender do the work next time..." she replied to [member="Ryder Zeshatt"]. Men would usually offer to buy a drink whenever she was around, but the bartender always did the work. Just like maids in the house always did the cleaning, not her. In her elitist view, that was how things should be. Now she was faced with someone who took over the bartender role for no apparent reason while remaining attractive enough to be hired on the spot as a model.

Still, she picked up the glass gladly and took a drink. Meanwhile, another guy had taken a seat at the bar counter and struck up a conversation with the purple eyed stranger. She had no idea who [member="Arcus Tetevor"] was, but the body language of the two men and the large proclamation of someone acting famous was enough for her to infer whom they were talking about. Realising she was casually commented by the two of them as someone being famous for being famous did make her blood boil. Veronika was arrogant and never liked to be taken lightly for someone possessing mere looks.

"That's true. Among the tons of wannabe socialites, only a handful are worth talking to." Words formed in her mind without moving her lips, reaching out for the Force to whisper her reply into the two men who had just gossiped about her. It did not matter if they were Force sensitive or not. She was positive they could hear her as all living things were connected to the Force. It was a showy demonstration of her abilities, but that was just her character.

Anything that mattered, that truely mattered, within the galactic community stemmed from the center it revolved around. Like it or not, if you wanted to matter yourself then you needed every fluence the core could offer. Especially during an inaugural opening of a club on a planet who had them like a wookiee had hairs. During the holiday season to, imagine the stress level.

Better yet, imagine the cost. Atara herself was a small blip on the quantitative galactic fame scale yet she hadn't come cheap. Take into account the circle of minor sentients of note in her current circle and wow. She imagined the owners would be seeing more red than green in their ledgers for sometime.

Wasn't her problem though. She was paid, the tulip glass in her hand was full, and the beach was infront her. What better way to spend a galactic evening? By increasing your score on that fame scale of course!

As beautiful as the setting was, and it was beautiful, networking opportunity was in abundance. Around the little bonfire she stood, clad in swimwear like everyone else, was a small collection photographers, editors, writers, designers, models, and anyone else involved in the fashion industry.

Each and everyone had seen when Veronika came in and each and everyone had gone eerily quiet when she walked by. Ignored, the celebratory feel of the group turned to dejection and the silence continued until a brunette Alderaanian *cough*Atara* broke the unspoken rules of etiquette, moved from her group, and approached the designer directly.

"Miss Fleischer! Hi, how are you!"

Atara's own name was left out intentionally. She was playing a dangerous game of "You Don't Know Me but I'm Going to Make You Feel Like You Should So You Look Like a Butt Infront of These Two Gentleman I Completely Ignored Oh No Now I'm The Ass."

[member="Ryder Zeshatt"] [member="Arcus Tetevor"] [member="Veronika Fleischer"]

The blonde ended her mental conversation and took another drink of the whiskey. At least the alcohol was decent, an authentic brew which she was glad to enjoy when someone else walked up to her. A long hair brunette that looked familiar. While [member="Atara Themis"] called out her name and greeted her with a smile, the blonde was already pondering whether they had met before. She eliminated the bunch of people from the last season's fashion week and excluded the list of people she had fun with at the clubs.

"I don't believe we have met. Please, join me at the bar counter," Veronika offered a polite smile that she put up when meeting new people and gestured at the empty seat next to her. Her eyes continued studying the brunette's features in an attempt to identify her, comparing her against the list of socialites and models that she had seen. If they had never met before, then it would only meant that she had seen Atara on the holonet, indicating the brunette had a respectable popularity. A billboard image flashed through her memories, finally giving her something to work on.

"If I am not wrong, your face was splashed across the stores of Glitterstim. You are a model, but I'm not surprised because your body allows clothing to be draped beautifully. I reckon a dress size 2 or 4 the most..." she broke into a bigger smile that subtly suggested the message of "Consider playing nice because I OWN a fashion label. Just saying."

"So, how can I help you, Miss?" Veronika had no idea what kind of contracts Atara were in and which model agency represented her. If it was really about business then she had to weigh the costs of hiring fresh new faces versus an established name. The brunette might not be having a supermodel status (because if she was, Veronika would know immediately) but Atara was blessed with beauty and a lanky body. Some models have skinny sized bodies and plain looking faces that could hit the runway. Some models looked pretty but could not fit in all the clothing.

The brunette had both. Veronika could respect that.

Arcus Tetevor

Self-Absorbed Gun for Hire
Arcus immediately felt comfort in this man’s comfort. Although he was big lad, he seemed gentle and friendly in nature, quite the opposite to Arcus. He paid close attention to the bartender as he spoke whilst he refilled his drink. it seemed like he was the closest thing he had to a friend on the beach. “To be honest with you, I do enjoy most things on alone but I guess seeing everyone else, having fun makes me want to think about not being so much of a lone wolf.” He cleared his throat, “Thanks for the Ardees mate, I owe you one” as the bartender set the cup on the counter. He chuckled after hearing his joke. “I’ve just come here on a short break since I’ve not had such a great year of hunting. Needed sometime to get my head right, you know? So what’d you come he-“

"That's true. Among the tons of wannabe socialites, only a handful are worth talking to."

What the hell was tha- Arcus looked up to see the blonde woman peering in his direction. Arcus didn’t appreciate whatever magic she just used and he didn’t appreciate people messing with his head. He downed his drink and vaulted over the counter and began to approach the woman. Famous or not he wouldn’t tolerate that.

Ryder's right eyebrow had arched when the celebrity responded to him. It was a comment he surely didn't expect, but I guess it suited his prejudice against those with fame, inherited or earned. It was one that showed a tinge of superiority whilst showing a discreet distaste towards a lower class. Why did he think that? Well, the way she was simply assuming he wasn't working there. You should let the bartender do it next time. He IS the bartender - one of the three that were working, given the huge crowd celebrating the inauguration. She was assuming it because he looks too good for the occupation in question. At least that is the way her words would be translated by the commonfolk, and that is how he interpreted it.

But he wasn't going to correct her. He straightened up his posture and offered her a light smile, and a wink. That's what the Zeltrons told him to do - just be kind and somewhat flirtacious, even if it isn't needed, because that's how it works on this planet. He looked over towards the starstruck Zeltron who couldn't really do her order, side-nodding towards Veronika as if telling her "You can at least take the credits for the drink, go on." and his frame went back to doing about three more orders.

His eyes fell upon Arcus in the midst of these orders, trying to keep the conversation going. "Well, you shouldn't settle with being a lone wolf. The vast majority of species have an instinctual need to be social. Humans are no exception - we feel better through it." He chuckled as he took a few credits from the orders and stashed the tips in his left back pocket, looking around to see if there were any more hands raised for a new drink. "You don't owe me anything, don't worry about it." Noting it was fine for now, he moved towards Arcus' side of the counter, showing that his attention was directed at him. So Arcus was a hunter. It made Ryder curious, having wanted to ask more about it, but noted that he was here to distract himself from it.

Then, he heard the celebrity's voice, and didn't think much of it by pure instinct. But his head turned around, and his eyebrows furrowed. He didn't feel anything. The voice simply occured, without any trace. There were no vibrations in the air, no motions of her lips, no signs of body language indiciating that she had tried communicating just then. Given that he knew extremely little of the Force, he didn't suspect the use of the Force being the answer. His eyes squinted, the violetblue gaze of his growing stern, adding more color to them.

He was about to question her, but noticed the brunette approaching Veronika and instigating a conversation. He didn't really want to interrupt their conversation with a confrontation - if anything it'd be bad for the establishment. He didn't want to bring their reputation down by questioning a famous person, since they were being nice towards him. The blonde megastar could see Ryder gazing at her intently, though, through their conversation, using body language where she hadn't - expressing that he's patiently waiting for the time to understand how that was done.

Though it seems Arcus would be questioning her right away.

''You? At a beach party on Zeltros?'' blurted the holographic image of a male twi'lek in her hand, clearly surprised.

''Well, yeah? Is there anything wrong with that?'' she replied chuckling as she continued to stroll along the edge of the beach and the shimmering sea which reflected the days last sunbeams in a beautiful orange sight. The warm evening seabreeze hit her gently.

''No, nothing... I just know you, sis... You get restless and bored if you don't hear the mag-lev train pass by or the buzz from the Row.'' said the man with a certain tone.

What her older brother said was true. At least had been true in the past. Growing up in the metropolis of Coronet City, she usually prefered planets like Coruscant or Nar Shaddaa, where it was easy to find a job and easy to blend into the crowds and stay anonymus. Further more, it was a long time ago that she heard the mag-levs and walked through the Row. A soft smile spread on her lips and she nodded at the side, towards the outdoor club a stones throw away that were well filled as any other popular club back on Corellia. The deep sound of the bas reaching far across the beach.

''Well, as you hear... I got all the buzz that I need. Besides, it's actually nice here... The sun. The waves. Something you can't experience back home... Yeah... It's alright.'' she said and peered at the sun setting above the horizon across the sea. Looking back at the hologram, she continued. ''The only thing to watch out for here would be the phermons of the zeltrons, but I guess it's a small thing compared to other stuff. I miss you, Rah.''

''I miss you too, sis. It's been a while now, haven't it? I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying yourself, though. How's things otherwise?''

''It's good. I recently refitted Ryvius with a new hyperdrive and some minor other changes... She's delivering better than ever. The droids are fine and business is going well, I've been off-world alot lately. I'm so sorry I haven't had the time to come home and visit you.''

''Don't worry about that now, Tan! We'll see each other soon enough. Don't think about that, instead continue to enjoy yourself tonight! I gotta get back to work now but see you soon, huh? I call again tomorrow and we'll talk more, alright?''

With that the siblings exchanged warm smiles and said good bye for now. She turned off the holoprojector, put it back in the inside pocket of her brown short smugglers jacket and took another sip out of the bottle of beer she had been holding in her other hand. The bonfire crackled behind her and helped the sun light up the beach, soon it would take over the task completely, along with the lights, strobes and lanterns from the club. The gently rolling waves almost touched the toes of her boots. She took in the beautiful sight of the sky and the sea and the orange sun between them, before turning and walking back to the group of people that she had previously been with by the bonfire.

Tin'tinag

Life is a queen, if not it would be to easy
The world of Zeltros, the party planet, currently ruled by a certain Twi'lek and friend of Tin, a place to kick back relax and forget about political problems happening back on commoner. Honestly it was rather an ideal thing that all these planets were under Silver Jedi control, made moving between them ever the more easier.

Having long landed at the local space port the heavily tattooed Twi'lek strolled along the party planets long stretching beaches, the shore line dotted with man different party houses and clubs. The smell of food, drink, pheromones and what she could only assume to be some sort or narcotics wafted through the air. With each passing step the 'woops' and 'whistles from party goers getting louder and louder, quite a large crowd seeming to have formed over the white silicon grounds which she trod.

"Hmmm, this look interesting", strolling closer she got a better look at the crowd, it was certainly a beach party but seemed more tame, people drinking dancing a little but nothing over the top. "Now this is my type or party". Her walking continued on for a few seconds though coming to an abrupt stop as she almost ran into an individual with bright blue skin, "ah sorry didn't see you ther- oh Tan, this is a surprise, how have you been"?

The bonfire crackled welcoming in front of them and spread both light and warmth to the surrounding area of the beach. It would help the party continue even if the night were going chilly. Her small chat with a male duro and a zabrak couple were suddenly interupted by a familiar yellow face passing by and almost bumping into her. A friendly smile appeared on her lips when she were spoken to by name and turned her head.

''Tin? Hi! It sure is a surprise!'' she exclaimed, before excusing herself to the others to turn the attention to her friend.

''I've been great! How about you? It's a small galaxy, isn't it?'' she said with a chuckle, glad to see her again.

''But you look dry, Tin?'' she continued when noticing Tin lacked a bottle or a glass in her hands, raising her own bottle in a gesture.

It was a long time since she had socialized like this. Both due to hard and busy work and it had not been a part of her for many years. As matter of fact, Rah would have been more than surprised seeing her like this. She were surprised herself how at ease she was, usually running from authorities and further back had been running from her past.

It was kind of nice to see Tan rember who she was, even though the two never really talked, then again how many other Twi'leks did one know with so many makings all over their body. Seemed the fellow smuggler still got around just a much as usual, "well it is small when you know where to look, should have suspected you would be at a party somewhere". Her tone was joking but at the same time it was not hard to belive, Tan did come off as the outgoing party type when away from work.

"You know what I am a little dry, havn't had a drink for a few hours", briefly turning around she snatched up an empty glass, holding it out in front of Tan. "Fill me up one why don'tcha". As her blue counterpart hopefully went about dispensing the booze Tin decided to follow up with some more questions. "So, how has business been? broken any laws lately"?

Her yellow kindreds assumption made her chuckle a bit. She sould have seen her about seven or eight years ago or so, back on Corellia. This establishment were pretty calm in comparison, at least still was. Her statement was also interesting, considering they had not realy had the time to talk before. Was it her jedi senses or were Tin just hella good at knowing and reading people?

''You did, huh? Did your jedi senses tell you that?'' she said, for a moment thinking of the old times and tossing a lekku back.

As Tin scrambled forth an empty glass, she turned her head and hailed a casualy dressed human man that seemed to be helping the bar with the servings out in the crowd.

''Well, what's your poison, Tin?'' she asked and turned back to her, taking another sip from the green bottle of beer. The waiter returned with a bottle of whisky and a bottle of Zeltros rum, as a suggestion for the yellow twi'lek. One could get a wider variety of drinks in the bar if it didn't spoke to the smuggler jedis tastebuds.

''It's been good! Finally getting some time off and thought this was the place to visit for some r 'n r and celebrating the beginning of the new year.'' she replied.

Tin's question about the law was funny and she surely knew the answer to it already. As smugglers, they both tended to traverse into the grey and black zones of it quite often. She chuckled again before emptying the beer and sat it down on the waiters tray before he left, switching to a short glass of whiskey the waiter poured up to her.

''You know how it is... We're not saints when carrying out our work. Cheers then!'' she said and with a smile offered a toast.

Tin looked at her fellow smuggler is a cow smile, it was nice to get back with a person who had a decent sense of humor. To many people back on commoner who was just to prime and proper, aside from her crew mate but she was a bit to shy to really speak up about it. "Ha I don't need my Jedi powers to know if you are a party gal, sort of that old saying, takes one to know one sense, don't let my whole Master title fool you". It was kind of self appointed, even if she knew the Knights of Commoner would have easily appointed her as one.

She was more then happy to take have a glass poured for her as Tan asked about what she assume was work, "well I am a Knight of commoner now, like my 4th force user position". "Not really done much with it, been busy mainly with the whole reconstruction after the Sith invasion, though I am not really sure what my job really entails". Mainly since it seemed she was the only actual Knight, along with Sardust, who also happened to be married into the Australis clan thus being a Mando, but also the Queen of Zeltros, while being a member of some force church out on the planet of Teth. She was quite the outgoing and somewhat odd women when on though about it for any extended person of time.

A small chuckle escaped her lips with Tan basically admitting she wasn't on the right side of law at the moment, Tin giving a small sigh before raising her glass. "Cheers to breaking the law for our own benefits and profit", the two's glasses chinking together at the toast before taking a big swig of the scotch. "Now that is some good stuff, how I miss parties like this".

Althought it was true, [member="Tin'tinag"] little explanation got her to burst out in a light laugh.

''You got that right, but I sure didn't take a dignified jedi like yourself for the outgoing type of girl!''

It was frankly an unexpected but pleasant surprise for the otherwise stern lone-wolf of a smuggler. She got serious for a second when Tin spoke about her work and business on Commenor. As for herself, she tried to stay out of the war as much as possible. It were a bum full just to have various planetary authorities and, occasionally, former employers and gangs on your tail.

''Sounds like you've been all tangled up in the war? I... I'm sure the commenors are grateful for what you have done there. If that is much of an entail...'' she said and glanced down the amber liquid in the short glass. Gratitude. It was a funny word, rarely used in the life of a smuggler. Credits were a more common one.

She took a healthy sip of the whisky after the toast and felt it burn smoothly on the way down her throat. So, her yellow counterpart was also not shy of the stronger stuff bars around the galaxy had to offer.

''Yeah, me too...'' she agreed with Tin and glanced around the joyful crowd at the beach. ''Where's your pink partner, by the way? Petal, was it?'' she asked and looked back at Tin. Tonight was realy not a night for deep troublesome conversations about war and misery.
