Underground Brainstorm

Alright, everyone. After the Rebellion, Veino's stepping up into the spymaster role for the Underground. So with that, he's going to be taking a more active role in organizing, coordinating, and training.

This is who we are and what we do- http://starwarsrp.net/topic/138220-underground-forever-who-we-are/

So, what do you want to see with the Underground? Are there missions you want to do? Cells you want to establish? Skills you want to learn that deals with espionage/rebellions? Start throwing ideas at me.

Yeah I think it would be fun to explore the seedier, underworld contacts and data brokers side of the spy game in SW. Groups like the NR and First Order can have their fancy gadgets, the Sith can have their Inquisitors, but we've got scoundrels who know a guy that knows a guy.

A big part of rebel intelligence, particularly in the new canon, is their reliance on disenfranchised droids to serve as another form of information network. C-3PO was apparently something of a spymaster. Since pretty much everyone on Chaos willingly buys into the "droids are property" part of Star Wars, we could probably use that to our advantage.

I suppose to lay out what I was going for in the mission statement post Veino linked, it would be that I see the modern Underground as kind of like the Order of Assassins from the Creed games meets Dutch's Gang from Red Dead meets Firefly because of course. Everything is taken to eleven because the Force and Star Wars but we're essentially a group of Outer Rim legends that decided enough was enough and built up our own little pirate kingdom based on self-determination.

Yeah, that's a really good point. We're all about people here in the Outer Rim, especially individuals. So that's something to definitely work on some more. Work on threads going out into the seedy parts of the galaxy and making connections/relationships with people.

Public threads could work great with that, actually. Just go out and meet other characters.
