Unexpected Occurence

Location: Jakku, TIE Fighter wreckage outside a nearby settlement
Time: 1600
Purpose: None

Because he found himself wandering the galaxy so often, Lasky found himself in areas like this most of the time. Doing this like this, most of the time. As the planet hopper he was on landed in the settlement, he was ready to jump planet almost immediately. He hated Jakku, just like he hated Tatooine. Although there weren't savage Tuskens on Jakku, it was still so similar. The only thing that set it apart from the other was its massive Star Destroyer wrecks and Teedo instead of Jawa and Tusken presence. Lasky saw the TIE wreck and immediately went to investigate, maybe he'd find something cool like a pilot's helmet. But when he arrived, he found nothing. Just the scorched remains of what used to be a weapon of destruction for the First Order or Imperial Remnant, Lasky couldn't really tell the difference between the two. Only that the First Order was a pale imitation of the Galactic Empire. He cared for neither of them, but so many could identify the differences and similarities between the two.

And so, since he couldnt find anything else to do, he climbed the wreck and sat on top of the wing, staring out onto the horizon to see absolutely nothing for miles. Just him and the sand. No one else besides scavengers, and they'd already ripped this thing apart, tearing out every single component. He found himself meditating almost, with that same weird feeling he always got, as if he was connecting to something out there. Most of the time, besides another person, there was nothing. And here, there was definitely nothing.

Jakku

Something brought her here, the force had called her here and she would not ignore it's words. And so the desert scrap yard approached her. She sat inside of her new Jedi fighter...one she found for cheap, the hyperspace ring disconnected and would stay in wait for her as she zoomed off. She closed her eyes and let the force guide her hands towards the location it wanted her to go. Her fighter buckled and shook before finally then caramel color sand greeted her eyes. She opened her eyes and pulled up as she leveled. Suddenly she was flying above the ground towards what appeared to be nothing at all.

It had to be maybe a half of a hour before she she saw a long since crashed tie, she stopped her fighter feeling this was the place. She landed licking up sand before she opened the hatch and hopped out as she landed onto the sand with a crunch, someone was nearby she could feel it, she started for the tie fighter and then came up to it looking up as she saw...a kid? Setting up top meditating? She approached a bit more before she spoke

you know....there's a lot more shade underneath...but I'm guessing you don't care much do ya? Anyhow...you must be the one the force sent me to

The sun had just start to fade down under the horizon, and that's when Lasky had started to really focus in on whatever this was that was surrounding him. Flowing through him for these years, for as long as he could remember. Nothing really happened when he started to focus, but the sounds of the desert soon vanished, the scorching heat soon vanished. He had sunk into his own realm. Into his own peace. And just like that, he was taken aback into the reality by some sort of interruption, a voice. For a second he thought that someone was speaking to him through this feeling that he was having, finally. It was a lady, he hadn't seen her, but he somehow felt her presence and ignored it. He could tell she had no intent to harm.

She called out to him "You know... there's a lot more shade underneath.. but I'm guessing you don't care much, do ya? Anyhow.. you must be the one the force sent me to."

At first Lasky thought that she was crazy, what was she doing out here anyway? But then he thought about himself, what was he doing out here, anyway? A few moments passed before he responded to her, not turning around to face her, just responding.

"Of course I know there's more shade underneath, I'm just staring out to watch the sunset. What do you mean about 'the force' sent you to me? I don't even know you."

maybe, I should again myself.

She used the force and hopped onto the tie fighter, standing a few fee away from the kid she looked out among the sunset. To think such a desolate place held beauty was amazing. She gave a smile closing her eyes and hopped into the force. She expanded her touch out slowly feeling what little creatures came out after the sun went down slowly starting to wake up. She opened her eyes and took a breath out as she looked to the kid

you see...the force guides us...and binds everyone together. It controls the fate of every living being within the galaxy, it brings people together who know nothing of one another

She held a hand out, a hurried pieces of scrap wiggled a bit then rose, she moved it around then sat it down as she took a deep breath then out

I can feel the force within you, I felt it calling out to me through the stars...by the force im sorry for being rude, may name is anya...anya dib

She said and sat down holding he hand out to greet him formally
