Unexpected Pit Stop

Mantooine

Sophia had no clue how she ended up stuck on this jungle of a planet in the middle of nowhere. The ship had been flying just fine until the alarms went off telling her that the engines were overheated which was something she couldn't believed as she had personally purchased and installed those engines herself. When she had taken it out for a test run everything had been running fine so she couldn't imagine why now she was having an issue. She had landed as she knew you never ran anything hot but now she didn't know what to do.

Sighing Sophia headed back down the ramp of the ship with a handful of tools. Normally she loved working on ships and playing mechanic but right now was definitely not the time for that. The young woman had things to do back home, meeting on the schedule and her family to worry about so this was no good at all. Hopefully she would be able to get this taken care of quickly.

She was not a fan of jungles, they creeped her out even now so she was trying her best to not even think about her surroundings. Sophia was fully focused on the task at hand which was fixing the ship.

Mantooine, a planet that held little value but was nonetheless useful in its own ways. If Vulcanus was to restart the Sith Empire, he required planets that could be easily turned into fortress worlds and also planets that had a comfortable climate for Graug colonies. So far, Mantooine was turning out to be a promising place to get an upstart and the only real resistance was a small planetary defense force. As it stood, Vulcanus was making his way through the dense jungles of the planet and looking for places to stage a Graug holdout in preparation for a hostile takeover of the planet. There were plenty of caves, dense jungles patches and mountains to hide in and prepare a slow and subtle operation to suddenly enslave the planet.

As Vulcanus marched through the woods with his Horde Guard, he suddenly spotted a ship flying through the air and landing in a patch of open ground not far from his position. The Sith Lord quickly darted into the shadows, his one good eye constantly keeping a lookout over the ship and observing as a woman got out of the vessel and began to fiddle with the ship. The Sith smiled, her force signature was defiantly light in nature and by the looks of her ship she was a confederate. Perfect, a lightisder all alone in the middle of nowhere with an angry Graug right behind her. Quietly raising his hand up to the grass beside the woman, Vulcanus focused his hate and anger on the spot and began to heat a large circle of grass around the woman. Within a few moments, a circle of fire burst up around the lightsider like a burning wall. Using his darkside energies, Vulcanus attempted to seal the top of the "cage" with the fire by moving it with the force before she could escape. He wouldn't kill her, not yet at least, but the fire would be enough to keep her from simply darting away.
