GENERAL INFORMATION

• Army Name: United Enclave Marine Corps
• Classification: Professional combined-arms soldiers.
• Affiliation: The Enclave
• Army Symbol: N/A
• Description: The backbone of the Enclave Military, the ‘United Enclave Marine Corps’ is a fully volunteer army composed of people from the numerous planets in Enclave space. Trained and working in conjunction with Mandalorian warriors, they make up the rank and file force of the Enclave in military engagements.
  
  They are easily recognized by white armour inspired by their Mandalorian officers and comrades, particularly when it comes to customizing their gear. It is common for troopers to paint their armour to differentiate them from a different unit, and also incorporate some unique styling now and then to stand apart from each other.
  
  Their training, while not as intense as that of their Mandalorian counterparts, is harsh and requires an unshakable determination to get through. A test of commitment for any volunteer who wishes to defend their homeland and strike down the enemies of their state.
  
  Their tactics are a versatile mix of guerilla warfare in defensive engagements, and more conventional combined-arms warfare when on the attack. Able to work efficiently alongside their Mandalorian comrades, the Enclave Marines are ready to help as a police force on the various planets in Enclave space during peacetime, and as a deadly hammer in times of open conflict. Primarily an amphibious force, the Enclave Marines can work well in the close confines of a starship’s halls, but also deploy rapidly to the ground or in space as traditional infantry.
  
  As a gesture of respect among warriors, Marines who have actively served and finished their minimum service of five years, or have been badly wounded in battle, will be offered the opportunity of becoming “Mandalorian by blood”, a chance to undergo training and join the ranks of the Mando’ade as a fully fledged Mandalorian. Though this is not mandatory, the troopers can choose to refuse and be discharged, or re-enlist to continue serving their homeland as a Marine.

• Goals: Defend the lives and homes of all in the nation of the Enclave.
• Reputation: Relatively well known. Their most famous deployment was during the Maw’s attack on Roon, where the Marines stubbornly held out and beat the Maw back with brutal guerilla warfare and heavy firepower. Though they served in numerous other open engagements, primarily as security onboard ships as well as support troops helping the Mandalorian warriors in their missions.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
With the Enclave’s establishment as a new entity on the Galactic stage, their mission to rid the Outer Rim of criminal elements in their “Frontier War” quickly saw an expansion further away from the capital of Kestri. This expansion began to stretch the limited number of Mandalorian warriors thin at a rapid pace. The problem only worsened as war broke out and the Enclave’s elite warriors had to reach battlefields in far corners of the Galaxy, leaving the homefront dangerously vulnerable.

The demand for a home guard soon began to grow in urgency, eventually resulting in professional planetary defense forces forming to help keep the peace on each planet. But with escalating tensions, the need arose for a dedicated professional army to support and bolster limited numbers of the Mandalorians. A surge in desire from the populace to fight alongside the Mandalorians helped to set this initiative in motion.

The United Enclave Navy was formed, a unified combination of non-Mandalorian and Mandalorian naval forces to help patrol the Enclave’s borders and fight their enemies. Under the UEN, a new voluntary force was formed to give those in Enclave borders a chance to fight for their homes. The United Enclave Marine Corps.

Drawing numbers from any and all planets in their borders, all determined to help safeguard their homes and families, the UEMC serves as a dedicated force evenly distributed to keep each planet safe in times of peace, and rally together when those planets are under threat of invasion.
