DESCRIPTION
In the backrooms of Dantooine, the United Trade Authority was formed in cooperation with representatives from the Diarchy, the Sith, the Dark Empire, and independent space. The UTA is a loose alliance of Sith and Jedi interests that seek an end to piracy and corruption in the galaxy, in all of its forms. Whispers of such an organization began after economic hardships and war befell the entire Outer Rim region for an extended period of time. Under the guidance of President Ova Ziss, the UTA represents the people of Dantooine in all of its economic interests, and some of its political interests as well.

RATIONALE
Ova Ziss schemed for years to take over two well-known industrial giants and to acquire all of their operations: Raddell Mining Corporation and Trilon Corporation. The merger of these companies and numerous other local economic interests in Dantooine formed the United Trade Authority (UTA). The UTA aspires to mine the lithium, focus crystals, and staple ores in the Dantooine system, and then form a larger trade and transport corridor. The ambitious Ova Ziss seeks to make live-able space stations across this economic corridor.

In the business world, Ova has begun a full-on war against planetary piracy together with the Diarchy. The Scarlett Armada and other space pirate groups have made it difficult and expensive to do business in Dantooine. Using his vast intelligence, people networks, and lines of credit, Ova has finally secured Dantooine from piracy attacks. He is continuing to push their lines back until they have been ejected from the planet.

Ova Ziss aspires to liberate the Dantooine crystal mines and Dantooine enclave from pirate squatters. The entire planetary security force amassed to eject this serious pirate encroachment on the Diarchy's claim on the planet. This conflict is ongoing.

Recently, Ziss has adopted an interest in the tribal war of Wookies on Kashyyk, seeing strong parallels between their space piracy and the space piracy Ziss has seen on Dantooine. Together with the engineers from United Industrial, the UTA has developed a powerful fully automatic bowcaster that will hopefully repel the invaders. The Board of Directors is awaiting feedback from the Diarchy Army and Wookies as to the effectiveness of this weapon.

UTA Acquires 100 Series Security

The United Trade Authority has made fantastic strides in securing the planet against planetary piracy. We were founded quietly in Dantooine just before the Life Day holidays with the merger of Trilon Corporatioin and Raddell Mining Corp. We have made connections with Jedi, Sith, Droids, Humans, Aliens and Diarchists in a short period of time. Together with our allies, we will pursue "Peace Through Security"©

Quarterly Focus
​
Our slogan for this quarter is, "United Together in Efficiency"©. We hope to make our flagship consumer product line, United Industrial, ubiquitous across the galaxy. We want the entire galaxy to know that, when spacers need consumer products, they ought to choose United Industrial and the UTA.

Although the vast majority of our resources are in Dantooine, we also have satellite locations in Kashyyk and on Taris. Despite an initial struggle for a galactic presence, we sell, buy, and trade with corporations across the Outer Rim.

UTA must neutralize the piracy threat on a planetary level to properly manufacture and sell our products, however. We must have the manufacturing infrastructure go "galaxy wide", and we must not merely sell and ship to the Outer Rim. President Ziss realizes how significant a proposition this is for our company.

Diarch Reign of the Diarchy – and several other factions, companies, and people - have agreed to assist with the planetary piracy issues and cybersecurity asset intrusion. The Dantooine Planetary Senate has issued search and arrest warrants for the pirates in question. The Diarchy's High Marshall is heading to the planet to deal with the pirates personally.

The Sales Environment
​
The sales environment is improving significantly. The United Trade Authority was created in part to combat planetary piracy, but that is not the only aspect of the operation that the Board of Directors value. We value affordability across space, and we hope to accomplish this through the Space Station Division. We value exploration, spacers, and a smooth ride through space, and so we will continue to manufacture the Universal Mining Barge V7, the Tactical Autonomous Battlemechs which have protected the Space Station for over fifteen years, and other Trilon and Raddell products that the galaxy couldn't possibly do without.

We also value our friends and partners, such as those in Kashyyk who also deal with piracy. These strategic partnerships have led to unique sales and project propositions which would've only been possible through the leadership of President Ova Ziss.

We must continue to survive and thrive in this hostile business environment. It will be necessary for Mr. Ziss and the UTA Board of Directors to invest heavily in the security of our existing operations.

Remarks on Security Division Development Processes​
When we placed our research and innovation department into the security research division, our company's sales experienced a +84% surge. Therefore, this quarter's focus will be placed heavily on security products, such as our brand new "Pride of Kashyyk" prototype full-automatic Wookie Bowcaster, and a line of less-than-lethal products called LTXL. We have already received numerous pre-orders for security products. Furthermore, the "Kathhound Merchant-Class Cruiser" received significant attention when it was placed on display at a recent cocktail party on Dantooine. We are ready for the flood of orders in the new galactic year.

UTA will not be pushed around by these planetary pirates. Ova Ziss once remarked that if he hadn't been a mining executive, he would have worked in security. This is his chance. We will continue to deliver excellent products, services, and bottom-lines for both our stakeholders and customers.
