Designed by Sasori as an advanced armor and field kit. For repairing and maintaining equipment. Weapons and armor being able to repair themselves. Allowing the to be hardy when in long engagements. Compared to other military field kits which are bulky this is able to be universally smaller and used. Stored on their field packs along with rations as needed. Sasori took additional care with it to work on upscaled models for vehicles and fighters and then what would hopefully become a massive upgrade to their rhion class repair seeds. THe biggest benefit being that the materia variant allows for it to convert organic material into new cells for body repair. Still not as effective as natural healing or derma nanites... but it can patch one up quickly enough in the field to stop bleeding.

- Reverse Materia: While using materia is not as effective as direct nanites it can work... but it takes away integrity from the item to work on repairing it.
