Unlikely encounters

Five weeks after the liberation of the lost planet Veradune

With the mercenaries and bandit tribes gone from the capitol, Vulpesen and his parents finally had time to catch up with each other, before he left to join Alexandra to help with matters concerning the Order of the Grey. The young sith finally had time to learn directly from his parents for about a week. However, all things must come to an end and as the final week closed, he found himself saddened to hear his father's dismissal. However, such words came with hope as he was given a chance to meet his new trainer in what his species was capable of. Hidden in the forest of Myrkrr would be one that Garen had known would have lived to her full natural potential.

Though the words held hope and encouragement, there was little time for him to act on them and it wasn't until bing banished from Yavin that he found himself with the time. With his love untouchable, he had little other motives than to learn more about himself and thus, after the purchase of a simple YT-1930, he shipped himself off to the familiar planet where he would find this mysterious teacher.

A remembrance:

All Clare remembers from her childhood was her brother. Clare and her brother were inseparable being twins and all. But, there was one other thing that still rings fresh in her mind, the crash that would strand her on Myrkr for most of her life. She remembers a bright explosion and then a the connection with her brother was just gone. To this day she still doesn't know what happened to him and she still wonders why her family never came back for her.

While on Myrkr Clare learned from a young age that she was quite different from anyone that she had ever met. She made friends with animals rather then people, she is extremely athletic, and not only that, Care's eyes changed from green to gold, she grew a fuzzy white tail, her aging slowed, and she can even run on all fours with ease. Clare knew that she going places with this kind of power, but first, she would have to learn a thing or two from a stranger.

Vulpesen set his ship down slowly, feeling a momentary terror as the force left him. Still, he'd been here before and it was easy to shrug off this time. Calling Ace to his shoulder, he stepped out of the ship. "Ace, connect to the ashlans. I want eyes everywhere." A moment later and a rush of pure information entered his head, lives throughout the forest transmitting their thoughts through one conduit and into his skull. It was like a pressure washer of knowledge slamming into his brain. Before too long, he managed to get a hit on a white tailed woman. She was deep in the forest... like, really deep. "Thanks Ace." Popping my legs into joint, I started my dash, making my way to my soon to be teacher.

Vulpesen's feet carried me on wards, pounding the ground as I followed the ashlan's wishes. Avoiding the various flora and fauna of the hostile world, he stopped when the trail ran cold. The area was pulsing with ashlan activity and it took me a moment to finally find the person. Stopping under the tree, he looked around. "Clare!" It was the name I'd been given. I wasn't sure if she knew it, but I was about to find out.

Clare cocks her head in surprise hearing her own name. She seems hesitant to enact her usual plan when a stranger enters her territory, but she quickly shakes it off and springs the trap. She gives off a loud yip and from the foliage springs a nexu baring its fangs and growling at the intruder. Clare leaps down from her tree right on top on of the intruder as well.

My ears picked up the sounds I turned to see the Nexu as Ace alerted me to the falling body. Reaching my hands out to their resective locations, I instinctively reached out to the force to send out a couple of powerful pushes, capable of sending both of them flying. The effects could be quite terrible, devastating int fact, save one little thing... I was on Myrkrr. Instead, all that happened was me looking like an idiot as I crumpled under the weight of my assailant. "Oi, get off of me!"

Clare growls, "What are you doing in my territory?" She digs her sharp claws into the intruders flesh to make him talk. Meanwhile Sid, the nexu, instead of doing his job is intrigued by the little creature that traveled with the intruder. She notices that Sid is in a relaxed position like he usually is around her. She gives up hope with him and instead diverts her attention back to the person underneath her, but then she realizes something. The male underneath her has the same features as her. "Who are you?"

"Ow, Ow, OW!" Her claws were sharp, she attacked from a tree, and she had glowing gold eyes. Yup, definitely a zorren. "I'll tell ya, just take it easy." Sure she had me pinned, but there was the matter of six years of specialized training under my belt. Shooting my head up I slammed it into hers before raising my arm to strike at her right should. The move was simple, stun and turn. If all worked up, she'd be a bit dazed and i would have a chance to get on my feet. "I'm looking for you. My name is Vulpesen Espadus Torrevaso, my father said I could come here to find someone who could teach me how this new body works since I matured without a teacher."

Clare reels back in more of shock then pain. She lets Vulpesen go and springs backwards. "You... you are looking for me?" Clare shakes her head, "Why would your father send you here, and why would he assume that I would teach you anything?" She growls, "Why do you look like me?" Even more questions rang through her head, but she was trying to process everything that he had said as well. She takes a deep breath and slowly reaches out a shaking hand, "Are you like me? Do you know what I am?"

I nodded and stood up to my full height, glad to no longer be pined to the ground. As Clare asked her questions, I found myself more and more interested in how little she knew. I had been on Veradune, I knew all about my home... she didn't. I knew what we were. She knew what we could do. It was the perfect match. "You could say we're alike. We're both Zorren. We live on a planet lost to most charts and most history archives. I'm new to it myself, but if you'll teach me what I can do, I can help teach who you are."

"Zorren?" She says the word again liking the way it roles off of her tongue, it feels natural and she takes comfort in that. She stands up straight and clears her throat, "I'll teach you if you can tell me one thing." She grins, "How old do you think I am?" This is a little trick Clare loves to play on anyone that she gets a chance to. The look on their faces when she reveals her true age in almost priceless. She really just wanted to get a feel for Vulpesen's personality before she agreed to anything.

I grinned and flicked my tail at the riddle. My father hadn't told me much, but there were somethings I knew. "You've been on Myrkr all your life. Your tail is full grown, but you've matured by human standards as well. Twenties." I understood how hard it could be for others, but for me, it was essentially a walk in the park.

Clare slowly claps, "Well well someone has been doing their research. You are indeed correct, I am in my twenties, although I'm not sure what my exact age is." She circles him examining his body with intense scrutiny. She then mumbles to herself, "Not enough muscle." She pokes him in the back a few times and roughly grabs his hair and gives it a whiff. She then moves on and proceeds to grab his left hand and bites down on it as hard as she can.

My eyes stayed on her as she circled me. What do you have planned? My tail swished behind me and my brow rose as she commented on my muscle. "Its gotten me past several sith masters, one of which having been an emperor." Sure I was among the sith now, but that doesn't mean I wasn't proud of what I had done in the past. When she grabbed my hair, I found the pain a bit unnecessary. "Oi, watch it!" He teeth flashed and I quickly jump back, keeping a wide distance from her chomping teeth. "How about, you not try to eat me."
