Unrest in Peace

Dathomir, Mandalorian Territories

Whilst internal strife tore at the stability of the United Clans, Dathomir remained largely unaffected. While she and her people were in drastically close proximity to the conflict, they had not been exposed. The Death Watch and United Clans both knew the fate of those who attempted to sway Dathomir's allegiance; and so extreme caution was exercised by the former. That is, until they got a bold idea. Perhaps it was born out of desperation. Or, maybe they thought this plan would result in an exceptional advantage. Whichever the case, the Death Watch crossed the metaphorical line.

You see, Dathomiri culture respected and revered the dead. In fact, assistance from the ancestors was something that formed a basis for their magicks. Seeing this, the Death Watch identified the dead as something new: a source of power. And thus did they break into the Tomb of Talzin.

Every Witch worth their salt would feel her anger.

Every Son or Daughter of Dathomir would feel her wrath setting the Force ablaze.

Her resting place had been desecrated, and now it fell to her children to right this tremendous offense. Already the Witchmasters had begun to muster at the mouth of her Tomb: a small force that would only grow as more came on the scene. Before them laid a labyrinth of tunnels, traps, and ethereal guardians. Talzin's anger would not differentiate friend from foe in these moments: only the absolute cleansing of her Tomb would do so. Thus, the Witchmasters had one hell of a fight before them.

Torch in hand, Isley Verd braved one of the first tunnels. Some would follow, some would go another direction. Thankfully enough, there wasn't anything trying to kill him.

Yet.

Morgana Belcourt wasn't one to normally partake in Witching exploits, or acquaint herself with other Witches at all. After all, if the Sith knew of her mantra, surely she would be frowned upon in their ranks, and thus would never find a master. But alas the thing that disturbed her the most of all things, was the fact that the force called even her, someone who was not even a Dathomiri Witch, but something of her own. Especially now that she stood in front of the tomb to the legendary Mother Talzin, who was someone she had respected greatly, as she had met her once in person, she could feel the anger and wrath that came with the sacrilegious defiling of her own tomb. It was unfortunate that Morgana was somewhat disliked by her as an apprentice of the Count. Thinking of it as a way of redemption, she decided none other than to "defile" the crypt with her own presence, so to speak.

Her existence in the first hall of the tomb not only felt unwelcome, but hated. She just wasn't sure if it was because of her own relationship with Mother Talzin, or if it was the general hate of all things disturbing her sleep. Perhaps both? Morgana never really understood the Night Sister's fascination with the dead. To her, once someone was dead, they should stay that way, and it was usually herself that made them so. Never the less she would do what she could to assist her new allies in the purification of all things vile in the tomb. It was the least she could do for a faction that excepted her as their own even though she truly didn't fit.

"Mother Talzin, nice place you have."

Edison dismounted from her giant blue spider, leaving it several hundred yards from the entrance to Talzin's Tomb. The creature had been growing more and more nervous as she had closed, until she simply rooted herself to the spot and would not proceed forward. Edison knew she could have used her powers to force the spider on, but she cared too much for the beast to subject it to torture. Instead, she dismounted and sent the thing back to its cave.

Spotting [member="Isley Verd"] and [member="Morgana Belcourt"] , she approached with a wave. "Good to see you," she said. For some reason she felt the need to speak softly. "How do we want to approach this?"
