Unveil the Soul [Thurion]

Voss
Late Afternoon
[member="Thurion Heavenshield"]
Some time had passed since Coci had seen Thurion. Their duties and responsibilities keeping them both apart and busy. Coci had remained close to Voss for the most part, dealing with internal affairs and report writing. Something that she loathes but a necessary requirement of her job. Now as Master those responsibilities have increased which prevents her from field work. But that was fine in a way, but still there was much to do to rid the galaxy of such dangers that threaten not only the Silver Jedi but everyone.

For most part of the day, Coci had readied her home, tuck away in the forest of Voss for his arrival. She wanted everything to be just right for when Thurion and Nina arrived and for them to feel at home, especially Nina. Their first meeting did not go so well, no ones fault but still it had played on her mind and she hoped the little girl would warm to her just a little bit more.

But of course Coci is nervous due to her, but she must be patient. There would be plenty for her to do around here, if she so wished .. exploring and gathering in the forest.

Coci had issued the invitation to Thurion to join her here and get to know her more too. See her home and she would tell him. Everything. This thought made her stomach lurch .. most Jedi view Jedi Shadows with dislike even despising them in some cases. But that was all part of it, and Coci did not know how Thurion would view it. However, if they are to have a future together then .. no more secrets.

The time for their arrival approached and so all she could do was wait.

When he had received word from the woman he loved that she wished to see him at her home on Voss, Thurion couldn't contain his joy. He'd do anything for a chance to see her again, and give her and Nina a second chance to bond. She was slow to trust strangers - fully normal for a child her age - but the only way for her to warm up to anyone was through prolonged exposure. She and her father had done nothing but bonded since their initial meeting on Umbara, forging a bond strong enough to rival that between him and his Master Asha, or the lovely woman the two were about to go see. But Thurion had never been one to shy away from those he loves, and finds it in his heart to love everyone equally and without question or condition.

As father and daughter approached the storybook cottage by following the pathway leading up to it, he glanced down at Nina clutching his hand as they walked side-by-side. She was nibbling her fingers, partly because of nerves but also because of her little tummy rumbling. He'd assured her they were having dinner once they'd arrive, and so she had not eaten for some hours. She wore her pretty, light-blue dress with her white hair tied up in a ribbon. She looked like a princess. The man himself was wearing a black shirt under his trusty leather jacket, coupled with a pair of ordinary-looking pants. He'd cleaned up a bit, trimmed his beard and hair just to look a tad more presentable.

The two walked up to the door and Thurion made a gesture to the little one. Her hand reached out and gave it a few shy knocks, then stepped back to latch onto her father's leg.

A peak of force awareness was the first sign of his approach. Her head turned toward the door moments before the soft knock. Coci smiled and immediately went to the door. Today, no black suit or finery, but casual in cream trousers and a fitted white shirt, her feet bare and her hair down. As the door opened the most amazing sight stood on the other side. She smiled down at the little girl before lifting her eyes to Thurion as the smile broadened.

"It is good to see you both", she said as she opened the door further to allow them access to her home. Inside the soft light of the fire warmed the room, the smell of cooking lingered on the air and a gentle breeze played among the curtains. For someone that lives in the shadows, Coci likes the light a surprise to most that don't really know her.

"Please come in and make yourselves at home", she seemed nervous, at the situation .. she moved to kiss Thurion but held back, not sure how Nina would take an intimate gesture to her father.

As the door opened, Thurion was blessed to look upon the face and figure of the one he loved, and all he could do was smile. Nina then tugged at his sleeve, a sign that she wished to be carried. He scooped her off the ground and stepped inside the tiny hovel, and was then taken aback at the lush interior design; the furniture, the decorations on walls and floor. Somehow he knew she was not as utterly useless at aesthetics as himself, a theory that was proven on this day.

"It's good to see you, too, Miss Sinopi. Isn't it, Nina?" he said, kissing the girl's forehead. It was not his preferred way of greeting his beloved, but he had to restrain himself for Nina's sake. She would not understand, not yet. "Your home, it's... beautiful!" he then proclaimed as he lowered Nina back down onto he floor, who kept close to her father by hugging his hand. "Nina, would you like to say 'hello' to the nice lady?"

She looked up at Coci, still wary of her but at her father's bidding she would greet her. She took a step forward and placed the tip of her finger upon Coci's hand, followed by a quick "Hi". Then she pulled back and returned to the safety of her father. All Thurion could do was look upon his love, and once Nina had finished her brief greeting he spoke into her mind. "Why don't you go have a look around at the lovely home, sweetie?" She looked up at him, nodded quietly, and then pattered off into the living room, taking in the whole scenery which was so vastly different from their own home.

Now there was nothing to keep him from approaching Coci and lay his lips upon hers, embracing her tight as he did.

Nina was to quick for Coci to reply to her. But that was alright, Coci would let the small little thing come to her in her time. She could understand her, in a way as this is something Coci employs as a Shadow. On the surface when interacting with others, Coci is blunt and cold, she has to be. Nothing and no one to distract her from her mission, well only one succeeded in that. She suspected that this 'aura' has been the reason for her not having friends, coupled with the fact that she wanted it that way. A lonely life indeed, for the most part. It is also why she has decided to live deep in the forest, a way of remain invisible to everyone even those in the Order. And it gives her the ability to self train in skills not open to everyone.

She watched as Nina ran off to explore her home, which made Coci smile. There is plenty for her to see, especially for a little girl. Coci at home, is very much a girl.

"My home on Coruscant is gone, as you know", she smiled sadly at this thought, not for the lose of her home, but for the horrid situation in which that planet now finds itself. "It was more like yours, with only what was needed, a transitory place for me to stay between jobs, here on Voss I hope will be more stable and so I lashed out a little more on things. But they are just things and not important".

She only just finished her sentence, as a kiss placed on her lips took all thoughts from her mind. Coci just let the moment, take her as she is lost in him. Her hands moved to his arms and held him.

There it was; that familiar, sweet scent of the woman he loves, her warmth and her soft skin - all just how he remembered them. The time they'd spent apart had been torturous, as every night when he'd go to sleep and wake up the next morning, he'd never feel more alone; the bed was too big, the sweetness of her scent and perfume was missing, and he had no-one to hold at night, to keep safe and secure. All these things he'd missed since their last meeting. But here she was, held firmly in his arms again with her lips upon his, and he couldn't be happier.

Nina's attention was fully focused at her surroundings; never had she witnessed such decorations and items to interact with, and her eyes widened to take in the scenery. Her tiny hands reached out for one of the decorative items on a nearby table, just so she could feel the material. But the weight had been heavier than she'd first expected, and so she could not carry it for longer than a few seconds before it fell to the floor with a loud crash.

Immediately Thurion turned his attention to his daughter, who now stood teary-eyed and afraid at what she'd done. "Nina..." he soothed as he paced towards her quivering shape, arms reaching for her to pick her up from the floor and into an embrace.

"Is she alright? has she hurt herself?", Coci asked concerned for her. The glass object lay shuttered on the floor, this completely unimportant to her as nothing in the room held any value to her and even if it did, Nina out weighted that as well.

Coci looked her over as she held tight to Thurion, her eyes filled with tears and frightened. "Please tell her it is ok, she could tear the whole house down and it would be ok, tell her not to be afraid". She did not want to intrude on Nina by placing her hand on her, and so indirectly to show her she was not upset with her, Coci placed her hand on Thurion's arm near her and smiled.

Then she looked back at the shattered pieces of glass on the floor, her mind forming an idea and Coci smiled further. "Tell her I can fix it", she said as she indicted for Thurion to sit with her on one of the sofas.

Coci crouched down and looked over the pieces, her hand came to her chin in mock thought as she rubbed it, just like all Jedi with beards do. Her hand extended palm down as she summon the force to her hands. She began to move them in a circular motion, more for theatrics then necessity and the pieces began to rise in the air. Coci placed them on the surface of the low table and contemplated once more.

Her hands began to move over the pieces only an inch away, focusing through the force the piece swirled and came together. Each piece Coci manipulated on a molecular level and one by one that joined. Coci knew what the glass object had been and 'attempted' to reconstruct it. She deliberately failed .. forming a lop sided obscure shape. She looked at her work considering it a masterpiece .. then screwed up her face and shook her head to Nina. "No that's not it", she said out loud but she believed Nina would understand her facial expressions. So Coci tried again, and formed yet another shape, which she designed for the top to fall off when completed. A disappointed looked crossed her face, telling of a lack of dislike for her own work. She rested her elbow on the table, and cupped her face with her hand and sat in thought.

"Ah I have it!". Coci shifted her shoulders and stretched and cracked her neck and head in preparation for the might task. Her fingers flexed and wiggled to loosen them as her hand once more hovered over the glass object. This time Coci concentrated further. Her eyes closed and in her mind she picture one of the furry creatures that live in the surrounding forest. A small creature, with a large bushy tail, that hibernates through the winters.

Coci hand began to move, she could feel the heat of the force within her palms and she lowered them. She formed a solid object and lifted toward her palms, her fingers rolling around the object but never touching it. They hidden what was forming form view, but glimpses could be seen if watched. A white radiant light formed in the middle of the glass, Coci manipulated the structure form the creature slowly. When it was completed, Coci stood up and moved near Thurion and Nina. She bent down and in front of Nina opened her palm to reveal the newly formed glass creature. It was complete with detail.

"It is for you Nina", she said offering it to her to take if she wished.

She didn't sob, for she could not due to her being mute, but the tears had begun to crawl down her cheeks and down onto her father's shoulder. "There, there, my little snowflake. It's alright, everything is fine", he soothed while cradling his daughter in his arms. He took a seat next to Coci on the sofa with Nina still in his arms, and the two watched as she began to reassemble the pieces of glass. Nina's tears were soon replaced with utter fascination as the object took shape, failing the first two times to replicate how it had looked before.

Once it was done, however, the raven lady presented the object to her. She didn't want to pick it up at first for fear of dropping it again, but the woman seemed confident that she would not, and even if she did she'd just be able to reassemble it again. Nina plucked it from her palm with her tiny hands, examining it with great care before she looked up at Coci. A faint smile formed on her lips as her father translated into her mind that she could keep it. Thurion put her down on the sofa between him and Coci, and soon she shyly crawled over to her and nuzzled her face into her chest, a sign of thanks to the kind lady. She still wouldn't say anything, but her gesture would tell of her thoughts and feelings.

As Nina's arms reached around her, Thurion moved forward to embrace both of them, giving each of them a kiss on the forehead.

The reaction from Nina was far more then Coci had hoped to expect. For a moment, Coci just looked down at the beautiful little girl cradled in her chest. Then her arms went around her gently so not to frighten her. Coci did not say a word however, but looked up into Thurion's face with a smile. Then he embraced them both and Coci felt nothing like it. The three of them close together, the warmth of their bodies united.

For the moment Coci allowed the sensation of joy wash over her as the kiss touched her forehead.

Then as the moment passed, Coci stood and looked at them both. "I think you both are hungry and dinner is ready", she smiled more.

Coci went to the kitchen to finish preparing the meal. Not much left to do but cut some bread and cheese for the table. The soup is ready and the table set in the open room near them. She returned with a large bowl and placed it in the centre of the table. "Come", she indicated for them to come to the table.

Nina remained sat on the sofa along with her father while Coci stepped into the kitchen. She seemed overjoyed at the present she'd been given, and couldn't stop showing him the glass sculpture and its fine details, all done by the hand of the dark-haired woman. Thurion tried his best to take interest in her gift, but there was only so much he could to not watch the woman he loves walk away, and his mind summoned images of how she looked under that outfit of hers.

When the call for dinner came, he plucked Nina off the sofa and carried her over to the table and sat her down in one of the chairs. As he took his own seat the soup was put on the table, and his senses were graced with the exquisite scents of her cooking. Once their hostess had taken her seat, Thurion began to pour the soup into Nina's bowl, followed by Coci's. While he was the guest this time, he wouldn't dream of having someone pamper him because of formality's sake.

Nina happily began putting spoonfuls of the soup into her, smacking her lips in delight as she'd always do when tasting something she liked. She was too busy eating to even look at Coci, but Thurion felt he had all the time in the world to watched his beloved with intense, blue eyes while hardly touching his food.

As she sat eating her soup, Coci could feel his gaze on her. She smiled up at him, only to return to her food for the moment. "Eat", she whispered to Thurion, with a further smile and some thoughts in her mind. As the soup began to disappear to Coci delight, she stood up and went back to the kitchen. From there Coci prepared the next part of the evenings meal. She had roasted a piece of meat and vegetables and now placed them on a large plate, the vegetables lay around the edge and look great.

She placed the food in the centre of the table, the carving knife already there. Coci went back and from the cooler she returned with glasses and a large jug of blue milk. She sat back and poured the milk for each of them.

"Please can you carve?", she asked as she placed the milk in front of Nina. "Take as much as you wish, there is plenty".

First he poured a glass of milk for Nina, and then he set about carving the meat. Once they were all served, he made sure to cut up Nina's into little pieces for her to eat before enjoying his own. Her cooking was sublime; one of many skills on her resumé, it seemed.

Once the dinner was finished, Nina asked to be excused before leaving the table. She still had a lot of exploring to do, now feeling more confident as she journeyed through the small cottage, observing every nook and cranny and the many decorations. Thurion watched his little one scurry off for a moment, then turned back to Coci.

"She loves it here", he finally said as his hand reached across the table to find hers, entwining their fingers. He looked into her dark eyes, so sensual and mysterious that every time he would get lost in them.

Her fingers gently entwined with his as she too, looked into those winter blue eyes. She smiled to him, the man she loves so. For a moment she just considered him, his features on his face, to his neck and across his shoulders. Such power there is in him, physically as well as through the force. A gentle man that does no harm, but yet has the capacity to overwhelm if he was to desire it. Coci reached out to him through the force, allowing her aura to touch his, as it had done many times now. The bond strong .. growing stronger by the moment. And soon she would complete the connection allow them both to sense each through the galaxy no matter were they might be. If ever he needed her .. he could call her and she would come.

"I am pleased she is comfortable here, and happy. I do hope in time Nina and I can become more, become friends". she finally spoke. "After we clean up .. I would like to take you for a walk in the forest .. I need to talk to you about something important. I don't want anything hidden from you, I don't want to keep secrets, not from you".

Thurion nodded, smiling. "I'd like that." His hand caressed hers until eventually they rose to clear the table and clean up the kitchen. Already he felt right at home, and didn't even have to ask where everything was as he opened the various cupboards and drawers. It was already getting dark outside, more so because of being out in the woods, and Nina was getting sleepy. She came tugging at her father's sleeve while rubbing her weary eyes, followed by a cute yawn. "I'll go tuck her in", he told Coci as he lifted her up to carry her off to the bedroom.

Once she'd fallen asleep, he returned to his lover. He came up from behind and put his arms around her, holding her tight as his lips sought her neck. "Nina's asleep", he spoke softly, resting his chin against her shoulder with his cheek brushing up against hers. "We can go outside whenever you wish."

She took in a deep breath as his arms enfolded around her. Her placed her arms over his and just remained there in the embrace. Not wishing to move, it is the safest place Coci can imagine in the Galaxy. "Can you feel it? can you feel the bond between us", she closed her eyes and allowed her love to travel along the force threads to him. That invisible connection now pulsing through the force.

She turned within his arms and placed a kiss on his tender lips. Her and searching for his and she led him to the door.

Outside the night had fallen, even though Voss is calm mostly, there are many creatures and mysteries that remain hidden. Coci had scouted the forest but still much remained unchecked and she would take no risks with her beloved. Her lightsaber resting on the table now summon to her hand and she clipped it to her waist.

The sound of the night creatures echoed around the forest, a cacophony of sound that filled the senses and alive with the force, as is Voss. Strong the pulsing energy is here and he would feel it. She lead him down a small path to where she knew of a place that could remain as she spoke.

"Thurion I love you more then life, but I must tell what I do for the Silver Jedi", she was best to come right to it. She stopped and turned to face him, to look into those blue eyes once more, "I am a Jedi Shadow, I have been for some time now. My work began with the Army of Light, then with the Republic and now with Silver Jedi". She would not need to explain what this all means, he would know well enough. However, she is nervous not knowing what his views will be around this.

As they walked through the woods holding hands, the dark of the night crept up on them every passing moment. When her confession came, he stopped and simply looked into her eyes. At first he looked concerned, but not for the reason she'd think. His concern was for her safety rather than her belonging to the often thought controversial branch of the Jedi. Their methods could often be seen as extreme, yet highly efficient.

His hand brushed away the hair from her face and caressed her cheek, cupping it in his palm. "I don't care", he said as he closed in on her lips with his, kissing her hard and passionately. He put his arms around her and pulled her close to him throughout the kiss as they were caught in a gust of wind, fallen leaves swirling about with them at the centre.

The moment was rudely interrupted by Thurion getting hit with a leaf in his face, covering up all but his mouth. Surprised at first, he couldn't help but laugh at the situation he found himself in. He'd let her remove it for him should she wish to...

[member="Thurion Heavenshield"]

The mood of the moment, broken by the wayward leaf. Coci only could laugh too, which broke the tension within her body. He does not care she is a Shadow and she loves him more for it. She just hoped that one day, if they find themselves faced with her on duty he would understand any disposition she will mask herself in. She knows him well enough to be confident of this. After all Thurion is Jedi and will do what must be done to protect others.

Coci's hand raised and removed the offending leaf, standing in the way of his lips upon hers. She continued to smile up into his face, "Thank you", she whispered, as she pulled her back to her in an embrace. Her arms reaching over his shoulders and she clung to him. Her eyes penetrating the surroundings behind them. Only the coming darkness would shroud them here in the forest and the cool of the night. The invigorating atmosphere being to descent, she could feel the moisture in the air already as it gently landed on the skin on her face.

She pulled back with a glint in her eyes, and pulled away from him. Only standing a few meteres away she turned her back and began to unbutton her shirt. However, as she did so she began to run, slowly at first until she became faster. A laugh issued from her mouth in the form of a challenge. To his mind she spoke.

Catch me if you can. she picked up speed and disappeared into some thickets. Her shirt thrown on a bush and lazily swinging in the soft breeze.

"Hey, come back here, you little minx!" he shouted after her playfully as she disappeared into the woods. He'd not expected a race so suddenly - or at all, for that matter - but he was in peak physical condition and would have no trouble keeping up, especially with the Force to aid his movements. Along the way he noticed more articles of clothing thrown on the ground and getting caught in bushes, and so he would begin to do the same.

His jacket came off and landed on the ground, soon followed by his shirt. Once he happened upon a small clearing in the middle of the forest, there she was, leaning her back against a tree as if waiting for him. Much of her body exposed, he closed in on her with lustful steps.

Her eyes would show him her intent. However,... Oh no not that easy, she said once more directly to his mind.

Coci pushed off the tree and darted into the heavy undergrowth. This part of the forest has vegetation of a rain forest, large giant ferns umbrella those that walk beneath them, towering above those are tall straight trees, which hand their branches to canopy the forest floor. The scent of fungi fills the senses as well as the organic scent of decaying leavings and dampness. A gentle mist began to form, visibility becoming hard, although he would sense her through the force.

Her legs pumped the ground ducking and weaving as she dodge the low hanging branches. The growth becoming thicker and her body showed signs of sweat and licks of cuts across her abdomen with a thin line of red as the blood formed on her skin. She felt nothing but the sting of the cuts, but she knew where she would lead him. Coci could begin to hear it already. The soft fall of water into a pool, she sometimes comes to bathe.

She could sense him fast catching up, and so she too pushed the force to her legs for more speed. He would have to do better then that to catch her.

Once she had reached her desired location she stopped and waited. In her hand her lightsaber at the ready. As he approached she ignited the purple blade and in a slow side step she moved around him. Her face forming a closed smile, her eyebrow flicked up as she eyes matched his, only to travel down his body.

She disappeared once more, and this time she was faster, aided by the Force. He followed her, pushing himself further to close in on her. He would not lose her in the forest; the Force connection the two now shared would have them able to find eachother across the galaxy if needed. She'd burn like a beacon of light, guiding him to her whatever the distance between them, as he would her.

When finally he reached the pool of water, there she stood issuing a challenge. A duel between masters, and he would indulge her lustful mood. Standing bare-chested, he unclipped his lightsaber from his belt and assumed his stance. A blue blade would appear, lighting up his surroundings as he spoke. "You know I'm just going to let you win..." he smirked, exploring her naked skin with his eyes, full of desire and want.
