Helios sat quietly in the cell he was placed in. Staring at the door. The cuffs they transported him in. Had severed his force connection. Though now that they were off. Helios was merely bidding his time. It was key to make sure nobody witnessed what he was about to try. As Helios had no intentions of staying peacefully within this holding. After all the walls were taunting him... He couldn't stand taunting enclosures. Let alone Helios didn't handle the thought of any cages very well in the first place. His limited sanity was enough of a cage for him to deal with.

Helios hated to admit his admittance into the cell was possibly justified? Helios wouldn't admit to it being completely right. It wasn't his fault he tore the right rotator cuff, shattered the left clavicle and the left patella of a high class trader. Okay... It was his fault he inflicted the injuries. Though how was he to know the man's status? The man totally deserved what came to him. Plus the injuries would certainly heal, it wasn't like he shattered a vertebrae.

Recapping the incident. Helios had been walking along minding his own business. When he found a man striking a slave. Now under normal circumstances Helios would of over looked such cruelity. Life wasn't exactly a cup of tea all the time. Though in this instance the particular slave happened to be a child... The act brought back not so pleasant sensations to Helios. So, when Helios requested the man to stop, and then warned the man to discontinue the striking of the child. The man decided to place a straight jab into the kid's stomach with enough force to leave the kid laying on the ground in a fetal position.

Helios in short sumarry snapped. Placed a quick jab of his own to the man's solar plexus. The rest of the mentioned injuries following as the man catched his breath. Now, Helios was the one stuck in a cell. Awaiting whatever punishment was suppose to come. Though as mentioned Helios didn't do cages and especially not the likes of one with taunting walls. It was completely incorteous of the walls to mock him!

Helios began to tap the walls of his cell. Closing his eyes and listening to see if there was any particular weak spots. He sensed a few flaws, though nothing of a magnitude he could expose and strike his way out of. Which that too was very indecent. Helios began to pace and mumbled to himself. "Stupid walls... Can't you shut up and let me think how to smite you? I promise it won't hurt... Too badly." he said as if though trying to reason. Helios twitched every now and then as he studied the cell. Welp. He had one last trick he could try..

Helios felt bubbly inside as he knew what was coming. Oh yes... He certainly did love this trick of his! It was almost a sedistic pleasure! Helios focused on his anger. Let it burn up inside of him. Wild and yet controlled. He stretched out his hand and focused out a stream of fire. The one talent that Helios always could trust. He wasn't sure how he used this talent. Just that he was good with it. Fire... It was his friend and on top of being helpful. It made him feel bubbly. "Burn!" helios announced. Unconcerned about who may hear him. Nor the attention using the force. "Burn evil mocking walls, cage me no longer!" he exclaimed as he laughed hysterically.

Of course it would take time to burn through the walls. Helios had high hopes he would succeed. He wasn't quite sure his escape plan after he burned his way out. Though that was for a later moment. He was on a mission to make the walls pay for their rudeness. If it was the last thing he did! Little did he know the individual who had caught onto what he was up to. Even less uncertain was the events that would follow because of this.

Every cell had a camera, if not to capture revelations such as these. A firestarter, or pyro, if you will. Kay only knew one other that held such control over fire. But where Lady Aysardra was, she didn't know. Nor did she know of the whereabouts of her companion Lord Mayhem. The two were nearly inseparable and it was together that they experimented on and tortured Kay. That had happened a long time ago, yet those memories had been forced to the surface recently during her latest capture. So of course it was the first thing to come to mind when she had seen this.

The moment that [member="Helios Venth"] freed himself, Kay had him intercepted, yet not with hostilities. Instead it was with an invitation to the Palace, or rather to the Palace grounds. In the back there was a lovely field, gardens and a hedge maze. For one that had worked hard to free himself, it was better to see him outside, rather than to make him feel confined once more. And she could use the fresh air anyways.

After being notified of the self-liberated prisoner's arrival, Kay walked over to an awaiting table and chairs. She poured herself a cup of Sapir tea and then waited. A half dozen guards stood nearby, keeping careful watch over the Queen. A small breeze played with her hair as it blew by, keeping her focused on the present, instead of on the past.

Helios cackled for a bit after he had suceeded. It was likely Helios was naive to the concept of fire proof items. Though these walls luckily for him, weren't designed to hold a fire throwing force user. Even an untrained one at that. Helios bolted like a wild animal who just saw there opportunity. His manic side working more of instinct then calculative decisions. At least until the force strain caught up. As Helios paled and frowned some. Uh oh.

Helios blinked a few times as rationality gradually returned to him. Well, as rational as he came. What was he doing again? Oh, that was right. He was escaping his prison! Quite sucessfully as luck would have it. At least he was solely convinced it was luck. He was dully aware of the fact he used pyrokinesis as a means to escape. Though he was unclear to what level he used it, only that it was catching up to his body and wearing him out.

Helios began to take down a hall at a gradual pace now. Knowing fully well at this point he would need to think through his escape. Helios turned down the first left he saw. Only to come skidding to a stop as he noticed some royal guards.... Why on earth would they be here?!?! Helios frowned and made a tuck and roll into a nearby room that looked empty. As he kept still and tried his best to remain quiet. It wasn't exactly an easy task for him. Though at least these walls were more corteous. They stayed quiet for him as he patiently waited for the guards to do whatever they were here for.

Of course even in his rational mind set. Helios was unaware of the cameras installed. So it was quite a suprise when the unit entered his hideout room. Focusing their blasters on him and setting up shields. Helios scanned the small unit. Had he been more trained or had a lightsaber of his own. Helios was sure he could of escaped. Though being barely sane enough to process the situation. Helios knew he wouldn't be able to close the distance and engage in hand to hand.

Helios considered more fire as his eyes went to the look of a wild animal once again. It wasn't however until he realized the men made no effort to attack or detain him did his expression return to confusion. "Hello?" he questioned to recieve no reply from the men. It wad only then that a messenger from the palace announced the royal guard's intentions. Now, Helios was crazy to a level. So he couldnt use that as an excuse not to accept an invitation to the palace. Though he still was well mannered. So, Helios accepted what was offered. It was better then another cell mocking him.

-----

After a short trip from the holding cells, to the palace. Helios stretched and smiled brightly. As he looked around the palace grounds. It was a nice and welcoming area. Helios took a moment of getting lost in the new environment. Before finally spotting a table and a lady. Pouring herself a cup of tea. Helios noticed how elegantly she was dressed and appeared. As well as how nicely the environment around him was. His ragged and worn attire and himself in general felt out of place. Casing him to gulp slightly wondering if this woman was associated with the man he justly assualted.

A woman alone wouldn't generally phase him. Not even while his rational side was piloting his mind. It was the fact this woman appeared to be socially superior and had a good sum of guards to verify that fact. She must of been quite important, and it made Helios both nervous and curious about why she had politely demanded his presence. As Helios was pretty sure the arrival of the royal guard earlier was as much as a threat as it was a welcome. At least in his opinion.

Helios finally shook his head. He eventually smiled, and as he smiled resumed a bubbly demeanor. "Hello, Ma'am." He spoke cheerfully. As he approached the table. Enough cynical to not be phased now, enough rationality not to make any unpredicted movements that could be mistaken as hostility. "To what do I owe the honor of such a summoning?" he asked in as polite of a manner as he knew. Trying to remain optimistic that she hadn't brought him here to suffer some form of punishment.

Kay watched as [member="Helios Venth"] approached. She sipped her tea, studying him. As she figured, he was young. His awkwardness proved that point too. She sat poised and straight as sometimes appearances were everything.

"I heard that you had attacked one of our most esteemed businessmen, and instead of awaiting your punishment for such a crime, you had decided to try to escape instead." Her expression hardened. Under her rue, Commenor was going to be a lawful place. In another day, the Twin Canyon Mines were to be reopened and prisoners were going to work off their debts to society there. Kay was not about to let this young man get away with his poor choice of actions. "Care to tell me who you are and to explain yourself. I advise you to be careful with your answers, for they will determine your fate."

He heaved a sigh. Well, so much for optimism on his behalf. "Fate..." he mumbled as he tried to wrap his mind around the thought. Explain himself? Well... At least he was offered that luxury. If it was a courtesy. Helios did try to place thought into it. In fact the thoughts he placed into it. Caused him to pale as he flinched some. The memories of his childhood edging at his mind. As he squirmed uncomfortably. Helios hands let off a few involuntary sparks as the anger he remembered dared to reboil.

Though a final flinch and a second sigh was all it took to calm his nerves. As he snapped himself back to the present. "The man struck a child a few times. I struck the man a few times when he didn't hede my warning to stop. That is as much details of the incident as I am comfortable expresing." Helios announced on behalf of the prior incident. "I will accept the consequences of what my actions entailed." Helios noted as a complete change as his earlier demeanor. Quite frankly Helios despite his insanity rather take a punishment, then re-walk his past. His past was a high motivator for how he chose to respond hostilly.

"As for who I am? My name is Helios Venth. I am just a wanderer. I act when I feel the need to act. Vanish when I have the desire to vanish, and have occasional Manic episodes. Aside from that I am nothing more. I am an outcast from an order that holds ideals that don't match my character." he said and shrugged. By character he was of course referring to the fact he held episodes of utter insanity. Though he wasn't going to simply express that. He looked to [member="Lady Kay"] for a moment. Then glanced down at his hands. Trying his best himself now to focus his mind towards the presence. As a flinch occasionally occurred, and it was likely having nothing to do with his current predicament.

Kay tilted her head to the side a bit while she listened. His instincts were good, at least good enough for her. The fact that he punished someone for not obeying his orders was tough to find in a young man.

She sipped her tea while he introduced and described himself. He was an odd sort, especially by the way that he would study his hands. Did he have any true control over his gifts? She could feel the Force's slight manipulation around him.

"You sound like someone that could use a new direction. Perhaps even a job. Interested?"

(Looks fine enough to me. ^~^ No worries.)

Helios looked up to [member="Lady Kay"] in a state of awe. As if though trying to process whether she had spoke those words, or he needed to discredit it towards his shattered mind. "I would... Be honored to accept a job from you, Ma'am." Helios said in a calm tone of voice. He knew rationally he likely still would recieve some form of punishment. He did commit a crime after all. Even if he felt it was justified. Though Helios wasn't going to turn down an opportunity to be given a direction other then wandering. Take what blessings the force, and a stern appearing, yet well mannered lady had to offer.

Helios looked to his hands and pondered. Curious to the task he was about to be assigned. Would it have opportunities he could acquire control over his techniques? Well other then his manic episodes where he could clearly use fire to achieve his accomplishments. He would have to work on turning that into a more on hand skill sometime. Though small steps, before strides seemed like a wise tactic. He eventually turned his attention back to the woman, and patiently waited.

Kay nodded. She smiled a little as she had caught the young man off guard. Always keep them on their toes, keep them guessing. It helped her to play her cards better. She sipped her tea. "Wonderful. In Chasin City there will be order. Crimes, no matter how small, cannot be tolerated. Those punished will work in the mines to pay off their debts. It benefits us all, you see. I will need you to patrol the streets outside of the usual soldiers. You'd blend in better and be able to see what happens behind our soldier's backs. And given your...fiery temper, you should be able to help detain these individuals easily enough. You have a gift and you should use it, not hide it, otherwise you'll never have control."

She took another sip of her tea, studying [member="Helios Venth"] as she awaited his reply.

Helios listened to her give her suggestion. Root out evil where her soldiers could not. Though the best part was. This lady was actually encouraging him to set things on fire. Helios very much liked the idea of causing things to burn. Unless of course she was suggesting he used the force, to 'peacefully' detain such law breakers. Either way Helios saw it as an opportunity to learn, and repay his debt to the woman sitting across from him. He was already feeling bubbly just thinking about lighting things ablaze... In the name of justice and order, of course.

Helios looked to the Lady, and gave a nod of his head. "Law breakers shall learn to obey, or fear the consequences of not doing so." Helios decided to the woman. "I gladly accept your proposition." Helios declared unaware how soon he would be tranquelizing crime. (It would only be a matter of days after this meeting. When Helios would have a life altering experience. As he tackled a project with another force user. )

Helios looked to the royal guards. Tilting his head a little bit. As he studied each of individual members. To most individuals Helios assumed all the guardsmen looked identical. Though Helios depicted little tiny details in their habits or appearsnces that differentiated them to a mild degree. Helios turned back to the woman and studied her as she drank her cup of tea. Such a lovely choice of drink. Helios concluded he had been lucky she had carried out his sentencing. "Might I ask what my limitations to act upon something are?" Helios finally questioned. In case he stumbled upon a larger crime then a assualt, or a theft.

Kay nodded as [member="Helios Venth"] accepted the job. He'd be one person that the masses wouldn't expect. That is unless he built up a reputation for himself. She had another sip of her tea while he seemed to be studying her guards. Maybe he was looking for a weakness in them or perhaps he was just looking for something to say.

And then he spoke, his question came. Kay had to remind herself that he was green. Had she someone older to guide him, then that would be best, but for the moment, she had no one. It was best to make due with what she had. Whether or not he remains in her employ was to be seen, but she'd find out eventually. "Limitations? You are to be the unexpected. Don't do anything out in the open so much so that people are aware of who you are and will hide when they see you, understand? Let the soldiers intimidate them, not you."

Helios nodded his head when she gave him instruction. Shoot. He couldn't burn someone everytime they were a problem. He would do his best. He was sure some situations would call attention to him. Though he would find a way to minimize such happenings. That and find a way to disappear when they occurred. Helios would have to look into mind techniques. The concept amused him, and would be quite handy for the task the lady asked of him.

"Yes, Ma'am. Is there anything else I should be aware of?" Helios asked as his leg bounced some. His anticipation to go forth and do right. Causing his mind to slowly cross into instability. Which in turn caused an occasional ember to spark off and dissipate into.the air. Helios doubted unleashing fire here would be wise. In truth he would even find it a shame. Though sometimes you didn't exactly consider such things in less stable mind sets.

Helios studied the guards one last time. Trying to keep his focus on the conversation as best as he could. His eyes darting back and forth between [member="Lady Kay"]. As well as the forces she kept around her. While he shifted aittle bit in his seat. Trying to remain as settled as he possibly could.

Kay nodded as he asked if there was anytging more. He was anxious. In a way that was a good thing. Did she have complete faith in [member="Helios Venth"] ? No. He had to prove his worth. He was just another cog in the machine right now. If removed, it could easily be replaced. "Keep an ear out for anyone speaking of plots against me. Have them arrested and prepped for processing. If there are no soldiers around, bring them in yourself and have me notified immediately." The last thing that she needed was for someone to be plotting a coup. Such rebelious thoughts needed to be quelched as soon as possible.

"Other than that, you are free to start right away." And by that she of course meant for him to start right then and there. She wouldn't tolerate laziness.

Helios hopped up and gave a slight bow. Not out of an attempt to be disrespectful. Just a little jumpy to get moving. "I will do my best to exceed your expectations on my mission, Ma'am. Thank you." Helios announced. Before he turned and proceeded towards the exit. It was quite cleae when Helios was no longer welcome. This was such an instance. In this occurrence Helios was glad it was the case. He was getting unstable, and he was wanting to prove that he wasn't going to dissapoint. Helios was almost fatally loyal when it came to his alliegances.

------
Helios had spent most of the time after the meeting. Being nothing more then a shadow. Picking up news here and there. Keeping unnoticed (aside from a few cynically fed rages... Which just made him seem crazy more then anything.) for the most part. Helios was quite pleased as he would work with the guards. To deminish the wrong doings of the planet. Disloyalty was punishable and Helios strongly.believed that. The queens enemies would burn! Well, at least Helios would of burned them. He knew the queen was more civil and would lean towards labor in more situations then not. Everyone benefited from that anyways. It was why she was ruling the planet, and people like Helios were trying to just keep it safe.

Helios finally found a day where discretion wouldn't so easily work. Helios had been peacefully wondering the markets. When a Jedi padawan had stirred up some commotion. The unforseen events lead to a discovery. In addition Helios had began becoming more in tune to the force. Even acquiring a prisoner Helios had brought into jail at the help of the other force user. The man that he arrested that day, spoke words of a dealing that threatened the planet's well being.

Helios had also as mentioned. Began to focus on meditating and developing force techniques and strengthening his connection. It was a slow process, though a productive one. Helios had learned a few things. The force aided him in his hand-to-hand combat and some core force techniques mixed with his physical prowess made for a nice combination. Additionally Helios was starting to find screwing with peoples minds were both fun, and quite resourceful.

Helios as soon as his jedi ally departed. Knew that the Queen would want actions to be taken. Illegal smuggling of stolen weapons was not something to be taken lightly in the trade market. Especially when the weapons were ending up in the hands of people who might attempt to over throw the government here. Helios departed to the palace as soon as it was possible, and as soon as tensions had died down and he was no longer suspicious any more.

-------------

Helios arrived at the palace. Trying his best to look presentable. He didn't exactly have a comlink. So, Helios was arriving on short notice. Helios huffed and walked up to the gate. Trying to signal for a royal guards attention. Seeming that it would take a royal guard. To get the attention of the Queen. So, that Helios would be able to get into the palace. To discuss the urgent matters he had come to develop.

Until he suceeded. Helios struggled with patience. He had sort of made a promise not to burn anyone for awhile. He intended to keep that promise to the individual he made it to. Though it didn't mean Helios wouldn't bring about a different kind of destruction if he deemed it necessary. The meditation and training had taught Helios a few alternatives to fire after all. Helios opened and closed his palms. Trying to relieve some tension up to the point someone came to speak with him, so he could contact the Queen.

[member="Helios Venth"] didn't have too long to wait. At least for Kay's standards. When she was ready to receive him in the throne room, she sent for him. The Royal guards led him to the doors, which were open as she liked them to be. It wasn't so much that she had an open government, it was just one of her quirks after her captivity. Doors opening usually brought her pain.

Kay sat on her throne, her hair drawn up in a bun and decorated with various precious metals and gemstones. "What do you have to report?"

Helios Venth

Guest
Helios bowed respectfully to her upon arrival. "I have a few matters, I would like to cover. If it isn't an inconvinience with you, Ma'am." Helios opened up trying to start off as polite as possible. She had done a lot for him, even if it meant he held duties to her. So, Helios could at least offer a polite intro, before delving into what had brought him here. Helios waited a polite moment before addressing the major topic. Then he would see if she had time to address the smaller matters.

"I had... An interesting exchange in the markets recently. Myself and another force user. Began to take a lead on reports regarding a stolen weapon shipment. These weapons it turns out. Was about to be smuggled into the blacker areas of the markets. With intentions of distributing them to people who may potentially oppose the crown." Helios informed her and looked about. He wished he had a rock or two about now. He wanted to fiddle with something or another.

Helios looked to one of the guardsmen. Tilting his head some as he wondered if the Queen had shielded her men from force techniques. He wasn't going to exactly try anything. Though random thoughts crossed his mind. Like if ever a guardsmen looked at him funny... Could he crush the individual's skull? Oh, he probably didn't need to attempt such extreme measures. Though, what fun was being cynical if you couldn't plot out a death or two.

Helios returned his attention to the queen. With as close as he could manage to come. To an unwavering attention span. Waiting patiently for her to decide what should be done, what shouldn't be done. In addition to if she had time to handle his other questions of interest.

After [member="Helios Venth"] gave his intro, Kay gestured for him to continue. No doubt he would have some news. People don't just visit for the sake of conversation. There is always a need of something.

She leaned in closer when she heard what he had to say. People were smuggling weapons, were they? With the potential of using them against her? That had to be dealt with swiftly. "Have these smugglers detained, as well as those that were requesting the illegal weapons. If they offer too much resistance, have them executed and in plain sight for others to see. I'll not tolerate such illegal activities that could threaten the lives of hard working and loyal Commenori."

Kay tilted her head to the side a bit as she waited. Either he would depart or speak more. She leaned back in her throne and folded her hands on her lap while she waited.

Helios Venth

Helios dipped his head a little. "Of course, Ma'am. Public execution is always a lovely option for the defiant. Speaking of lethal means... I have desire to travel some. I have been studying some force techniques, and meditating. Provided the majesty see's it alright. I have a calling to craft myself some lightsabers." Helios requested calmly. "I assure you I have all intentions to return. Commenor is like a home to me. It brings me great honor to serve under it's leader, for the sake of the greater good for the planet." Helios placed on so he could clarify his loyalties would not change upon his leave. Helios was a lethal force without weapons. More so as he unlocked the secrets of the force. Though sometimes having a weapon on hand did have certain advantages.

Plus, Helios saw it as only a necessary cause to request leave from the planet. Of course he had full intentions to deal with the enemoes of the crown. Especially if they resisted. It would provide an opportunity to burn some bodies, and twist the minds of the people. So, they remember the price of disloyalty. While not necesarilly remembering him doing it. Lightsabers of course would make for a cleaner and more proper form of execution. Which in some cases might display that the queen had agents who made her rule absolute, while offering a level of proffesional mercy.

Helios snapped his attention back to the present. He truly was trying to keep his attention focused. It wasn't easy when you had a broken mind to start with. Helios smiled some and placed his hands behind his back. He would inform the queen whenever he intended to leave. Then if she be willing he would head off for as long as necesarry. Then double his efforts to her cause upon his return.

There came a time when all Force Users needed to craft themselves a weapon. [member="Helios Venth"] was now facing that time. Kay had her own new blade, though she had yet to yield it against a foe. There were others to do that for her. She was a Queen afterall. There were many other more important matters other than fighting.

"Permission granted. Take as much time as you need, though not too much. Otherwise your loyalties would be questioned quite severely."

Helios nodded his head a little. "I understand. Thank you, Ma'am." Helios spoke to her and looked to her. His eyes quietly calculating something. Though he wasn't entirely sure what. He glanced down after a bit. Then bowed a little to her. "I have no more to request, or report. May I be dismissed to accomplish my tasks?" Helios spoke calmly. His fingers twitching a little. Like they generally did when he was anxious or upset. Helios had a lot of work to accomplish. From quelling a potential rebellion. To travelling to craft his lightsabers. Helios might find himself a member to other causes down the line. However he had no intentions of abandoning his home world, and the queen whom ruled it. Priorities had to be set after all.

Helios reached out with the force. Beggining to attempt to reach the minds of the people around him. Primarily the guards. It wasn't with hostile intentions. Helios only intended to extract some information. However when he realized what he was up to. He withdrew and returned to his mind. "Um. Aside from perhaps. Do I have the queens permission to utilize force techniques against her guards, as long as I do so to aid in a mission, and I do no harm. Unless of course a guardsmen is disloyal to the crown." Helios asked. He was sure that the guards had some lebel of protection from force techniques. Especially the royal fuards in the palace. Permission might have to be vital to properly use techniques against them. Without it seeming like a personal attack.

Kay raised a brow. One request after another. At least [member="Helios Venth"] sought her permission. It'd be quite different if he didn't know his place.

It was his second request that she answered to first. "If you are using the Force against my guards only to trick a future prisoner, then yes. Though I can't say that they won't fight back."

Now should she dismiss him? Or test his anxiety levels? Kay decided on the former. It would be better for the young man if he had more control over himself. "You may go and see to your tasks. I expect a report on your achievements soon."

(So sorry for the delay! The attack on the site, plus my broken elbow had this slip through the cracks.)
