Description: With a design that looks like a near-inverse of the ancient Sith Trooper armor worn by Revan and Darth Traya's legions millennia ago, the Sith Stealth Field Armor was designed to, like standard Sith armor, convey a sense of faceless terror enemies of the Empire would see in battle. These suits are worn by special operations troopers in the Stormtrooper Corps, and as designed are lighter than typical scout-version stormtrooper armor. Where they're superior is their construction: micro-roughened fiberplast makes the suit somewhat difficult to pick up by scanners not finely-tuned, with the advantage of not being picked up by metal detectors as well. The plastic base also does an excellent job of shrouding the wearer's heat signature, creating a "ghost" image of the person wearing it, though this means nothing if the wearer can change their own body temperature.

The main notable feature about the armor, though, is its personal cloaking device. Utilizing small stygium crystals mined from Aeten II, this small stealth field generator is equipped with sound dampening equipment to help keep the operative quiet as they sneak about, also making them almost invisible to any standard soldier. The faceplate of the helmet has, of course, a HUD displayed on the tinted transparisteel, allowing the user to check the status of the armor and its stealth systems. The device can run for approximately six hours before running out of power.

Armor downsides are predominantly its weakness, only capable of taking a few blaster pistol or a couple blaster rifle shots before being perforated. A scattergun blast at close range will most likely cause a good deal of damage to the armor, probably perforating it and ruining its stealth capabilities. As well, people wearing the armor can still be sensed through the Force unless the individual wearing the armor is dead to the Force, which would be an extraordinarily rare circumstance. This armor is only being issued to elite squads and will never see use by regular stormtroopers unless there was suddenly a shortage of regular trooper armor.

Description: During an EMP, there's a high chance that most small bits of advanced technolog.y, from datapads and holoprojectors to lightsabers and blasters, will have their circuitry fried and reduced to ashes by the sheer power of such an electromagnetic wave. Using a system similar to the capacitor armor of the Angel-class interceptor, Subach has developed a covering that can be applied to a large amount of small items, in order to protect them from the power of an electromagnetic pulse.

In its simplest description, the case is synthetic rubber, inside of which diatium microcapacitors wired together have been inserted. When the pulse strikes the object, these microcapacitors absorb the energy of the pulse, operating together as a single high-capacity energy storage device. Once the EMP has passed, the capacitors discharge, releasing the stored up energy harmlessly into the air.


Being that taking the covering on and off of an object eventually risks wire crimping and breakage, Subach recommends that coverings be replaced once every five years if removed at least once a week. If left on the object, it should be replaced, at a minimum, once every twenty years, well beyond the typical service life of such a standard device. Subach coverings are not guaranteed to make your device waterproof or shockproof, and it is recommended that you both purchase a durable brand of item and have it waterproofed.

Description:

The bounty against Subach Innes brought in quite the interesting schematics from various areas. One was the Mist pistol, a plasma pistol that used Tibanna Gas.

As ATC held in its subsidiary Mara TibX and Fuels, the desire to promote such weapons that will use Tibanna gas was held in favor. As such, their own version of the Mist would take from -- with notable upgrades to make it different.

To a degree it retains a sleek and chromed, but kicked up another notch. Bigger, larger, and with a meatier grip, the weapon was adequately plated with chromium to allow for its protection from environmental hazards.

Utilizing a more interesting mechanism than your standard plasma pistol, the magnetic coils hold tibanna gas in place while it is brought to a plasma state, a cruder system when compared to more refined plasma weapons. If the trigger is merely pulled and released, the weapon will fire a pellet of plasma energy with about the speed and shape of a blaster round, albeit capable of igniting things and causing burns due its intense heat. However, if the trigger is held, more gas will be converted into plasma, causing the weapon to release a much larger burst of plasma energy capable of lighting a person on fire on a grazing hit or, on more direct contact, vaporizing all or part of their body.

As a result of this, though, the weapon has one primary flaw. While a charged shot has ten times the power of a standard plasma shot, it also uses up ammunition ten times as fast and wears the weapon down ten times as quickly. A Mist is capable of firing approximately 1000 rounds, or 100 fully charged shots(10 reloads), before requiring major refurbishment of the weapon. As such, the charge function of the gun should be utilized exceptionally sparingly.

Reasonably-sized, concealable, and lightweight, the Mist has seen private purchases by higher-ranked on-battlefield officers of several galactic powers. As well, several of these pistols have found their way onto the black market, prototypes captured by former Deathwatch pirates during their raid on a Subach-Innes freighter. The weapon can also find itself in the hands of "special" customers or Subach employees.
