Alright Alliance,
for those of you who know me, hey. I'm back, lets blow up some darksiders, k?

For those of you who don't. I'm Corey, I write Coren and a few others, I was one of the founders of this faction and I'm back now. COren is a bit of a jerkass and does this his own way. He's... intense. But I've got some ideas to bring back and well, here I am.

So, thread number 1, probably going up in a few days. I'm going to need to take command of Omai, the Grand Marshall. We're hosting a Jedi entmoot of sorts. Coren has been in the Unknown Regions, chasing his own past, which has led him to hunting down Sith who trained him, as well as Krath and running across a boatload of other Force users. A matter of getting the Forcers in the Alliance to chit-chat and get them on the same page. A rallying call.

And the other one. So I've been a factory type person when I was here before. I've got an idea for a shock trooper unit. It'll be robotic and in line with some things that are a bit more intense than most light side groups use, but for the Alliance it matches the tone. What I'm looking for here are any miltant people, be they Jedi, or soldiers, as well as anyone who dabbles with engineering to help with a project. the TL;dr is that we're going to be developing a control system for automated shock troopers, as well as linking it with some pretty advanced 'learning' droid intelligence.

So, anyone game?

So, what thread should go up first

1) Force User assemblage of the GA, with NJO/Fringe Forcers as the focus. Direction will be 'what everyone is doing to enhance the message of the Alliance against the dark side, as well as what we can all do going forward'

OR​

2) Creating a new shock trooper unit, focused on using an adaptive AI that can replicate a player-character in combat. The droid will also carry a self-healing technology, allowing itself to salvage non-critical (non-weapon, non-AI centric) tech from the battlefield to continue the fight.

Hijacking this thread a little for my own devious purposes. I agree the NJO conclave is the better option to go for first, but like my thread this Atrisia thing will probably suck away most activity from elsewhere. That said, when things calm down a bit as far as both these upcoming projects, I'll be working on a faction thread for the Merchant Fleet. Or more like, Merchant Fleet hosted but everyone can participate cause there aren't that many of us at the moment.

I've got a few ideas kicking around, so I figured I would get people's take on what would be the most fun/most accessible.

1313 Basically - There isn't much to this pitch, but I feel it speaks for itself tbh. We set the thread in the Coruscant underlevels, and let people kind of do their own thing. Perhaps there is a street gang or crime syndicate or some other form of problem that us scoundrel types need to band together to defeat so it doesn't cut into our profit. But if we end up just messing around in cantinas and fences' shops that'd be fine by me.

The Caravan Social/Market Thread - The Caravan is what I'm calling the Merchant Fleet flotilla, so this thread would be set in space ofc and we'd get to show off our dope ships a little bit. Over the years a lot of this flotilla has been traveling together for so long that they've voluntarily fused together to form a sort of flying space bazaar made out of starships a la the old school starfighter uglies.

The Bank Job - Lets rob a bank on Aargau. This was an old dominion objective that sadly we didn't get enough interested parties to seriously pursue, but it was an old T3 dom and with a few scoundrely types we could do something more intimate that might go somewhere this time.

The Lothal Run - Lothal is our westernmost world by far, and more or less surrounded by First Order territory, save a small passage of friendly Alliance space. With the talks of neutral buffer zones and Imperial wish for GA disarmament along their border to maintain the peace, I was thinking this could be kind of a dangerous stretch of Alliance space. Trigger happy Imperials, opportunistic piracy, and the typical myriad dangers of the deep Outer Rim, it could be an opportunity for us to actually do some smuggling.

I know our "smugglers and spacers" quota is a bit low these days, especially due to the plethora of super viable alternatives for freelancers and criminals both good-natured and bloodthirsty. But maybe if we put ourselves out there we can recruit a few new hands and take a more active role in occupy a niche which is undervalued right now in the GA.

The Lothal Run is up by the way! Quick low stakes smuggling thread with the potential for some First Order pvp maybe. Will probably die down when the invasions start but something to do in the meantime.
