UPDATE ON STAR WARS VII!!

Kind of Its more so an update on who may be playing Han Solo in the movie and on a spin off where we see him work with our lovable furry friend. Now for this who do you think of these actors would take the show? and if you don't think they could, who would you put to take the spot?

It's not really talking about VII, as much as the Han Solo spinoff. As far as that's concerned, Brad Cooper had my vote 98%. But for the actual sequel, if they post anyone other than Harrison Ford, I'm gonna be seriously confused.

On balance most people wanted ford.

I predicted
James franco. Just because you could be looking at 3 which is 9 - 10 years right?

I don't think franco would have ford's deadpan charm though, he was so strong in that role, and is a serious character in many roles. Franco would have the look, have the attitude but not the seriousness of the actor, imho.

Here were 4 possibilities, but none of them had fords strength of character as an actor.

< See this claim I have, if you mixed him with the style of franco you might have a close/r to a ford, but still you'd need the ability as an actor in there too.

Out of your 5 i'd want nathan fillion hands down. That's just my personal love for him in the captain role, not for Han.

Is he the han solo we all know and love. No. But he's serious enough of an actor to get the job done well.

I would say that James would pull it off the best out of all of them. But nobody will ever beat Harrison. I doubt that he will even come close.

One has the look and the roguish charm. - Franco
The other has the serious side of han's performance down well (which was in most scenes) - Mcavoy.

Also I agree on not beating harrison, maybe they will be able to set this further ahead, so ford can play han and his/leia's kids take over?

McAvoy. He would pull it off best. and sorry about that man. but Franco doesn't fit the bill for me.

Heh sounds good to me. Had a few glasses of wine tonight! But I'll call Ford as the main character still just because of the vast fan love for him, and someone like Franco as Jacen Solo.

Franco as Jacen would work out great. He could play the innocent young man that becomes the Sith lord.

If it's anyone other than Manu Bennett for Boba Fett I will be sad.

And seeing James Franco in the role of Caedus would make me barf. Pick a serious actor like James Mcavoy.
