Urami Bushi (Rianna Ordo)

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
"Well how do I look?" The Liran stood there starring at Matsu and she could feel the blue skinned woman... man things okay so a genderless being giving clothing advice proved very very hard but standing in the room of the Vanguard now named the Harlequin with its trusty Crew well Matsu was having some fun. Her main engineer proving a good friend when you got her to open up. "It looks nice I suppose you are just leaving on a trip with a jedi master right? Nothing special like with your other human female Hanna. Does it matter how you look?"

Matsu blushed to that, she wasn't treating this like she did Hanna was she? No of course not, Rianna was a respected jedi master who was a talented healer and now a mandalorian. Where as Hanna was a politician and avid lover of flowers and chocolate, neither of which were here.... okay chocolate was but only because it was so very very good. "It does we don't want her to think living in space has made one unkempt or savage." The being continued to stare at her with that and Matsu sighed offering a smile while hugging her. "Oh never change, I think the engine room needs to be checked."

There was a look of protest before she took off and Matsu stood there just securing her shirt as the tight shirt gripped her chest showing where the sarashi wrapped around. The pants were a nice shell spider silk and black matching the small vest she put on and the grabbed a glistaweb coat. The black trench coat going to her heels while her lightsaber hung on her hip. The silver surface gleaming with its inscription and the solari crystal making it not work for a darksider. She preferred it tht way and now was walking towards the cockpit as the crew bustled around her.

They had worked to make sure the ship was in ready condition, everything and everyone with their places and seeing Harmony overlooking the two pilots while the systems were checked and double checked she was glad. They would be able to do everything needed and a small group of engineers who worked with and for her crew to keep everything in the ship running smoothly, even the cook in the small galley with brely room to move had a job and was preforming it. They had converted the cargo hold into a makeshift armory even for the defender/soldiers on board.

That was what amused her there was a small divide between them mostly in tact, she loved the Sirens who were so quiet and trained, able to work and protect her on visits to some planets and she liked having them around same for the Vong who was in her medical area small as it may be. She had proven more then helpful despite not really caring about the crew she had a soft spot for being on the ship surrounded by a few biots and other things. Now Matsu was moving back into the central chamber and activating the holographic display.

"Alright Rianna we have a plan as it were maybe, I'll just have to surprise you." Matsu held her hat while the ship continued towards Voss to meet up with and with the open room for the jedi master cleaned and ready house for a time [member="Rianna Ordo"] one of the galaxies healers and jedi masters she hadn't really gotten to know as good as she should have, Matsu let the ship touch down and secured her hat while walking towards the ramp a floor below and stood there. Threeish levels to the ship and plenty of room for her crew as it were meant only one thing. "Welcome to the Harlequin."

It was quite interesting that Matsu had made an invitation for her to come with her for a little traveling. Rianna had considered it carefully and found that the idea was not far fetched, and that she had sent a message to [member="Ordo"] to let him know what was happening.

Another journey, Rianna was wondering about all of this wandering she had been doing lately. She felt as though she needed to do something else, like stop for a moment and breath. Running MandalMedical, and training mandalorian medics, and now she was once again here at Voss where she thought she would not see again. But it was alright, all for good cause. Least so she hoped.

What was Matsu Ike like time would for there she was descending the steps and looking.......different in a hat. Rianna walked out and towards Matsu, "Welcome to Voss Matsu Ike"

Matsu looked at Rianna and gave a nod of her head to that. She took in the sight of Rianna and enjoyed the look of the jedi master, she was one of the few who Matsu had met and spent time with cramped in a ship yet knew not nearly as much about. She had some selfish reasons for things, Rianna was a master healer and she had been throughout the years battered and broken in her body, it was why as she walked down the ramp and stood looking up at the woman she offered a large smile. Their journey with Maya Whitelight had proven much but now... now as she spoke humor was in her voice.

"Thank you for seeing me Master Rianna, I know last time was under more favorable conditions. Now I am in many ways diminished but there are a few things I still know. One is that something terrible has happened, Even I could feel it from across the galaxy and hearing about the attack at Alderaan had my attention searching for anything." She moved the hat taking it off and smiling. "How are you doing now? I know the mandalorians from some experience can be a tough and hardy bunch don't always easy to be with."

Rianna ever so quiet standing with her hands folded before her listened to Matsu, "I am" how was she had anyone really asked her how she felt about all of this. "trying to cope I am quite sure we will once again take Alderaan back, and as for the mandalorians yes hearty stout bunch with their own opinion"

Rianna stepped slightly to be able to shift her weight. "How have you been since the trip with Maya?" The trip had taken a toll on everyone involved Jedi together working for a cause was always supportive and sound but sometimes it did not produce the results that many were looking for.

Matsu thought about the trip and in the time after it she had spent plenty of her time working hard. Working to relearn and heal while her eyes roved over the woman who was shifting on her feet. Matsu moved closing that distance and just placed a hand on her forearm in kindness while she spoke low and under her breath. "It will be okay." She looked up at the woman now and offered a smile while moving her hand so her arm was wrapped with her in a friendly manner. Just two chit chatting and she started walking. "Since then I have went through a great deal, severed from the force, facing ancient trials, reconnecting and relearning all that made me.... me."

She said it and continued to walk thinking about all that had come from it and what energy she had she gave to Rianna, she wanted the woman to feel comfort but more for her nervousness and that pain one feels when their world is attacked. She had felt the same hearing that Rhen Var had been taken by the sith. She patted her arm and spoke. "There are some things that have become harder but I found a balance and I may have lost my connection to the force but I never lost my knowledge, where my body fails and has become broken. The force has given me the strength." She recalled showing her battered and broken body held together by the force to Rianna and Maya. To show the different meanings of tattoos.

Rianna listened to Matsu she understood that the woman was trying to offer her comfort perhaps it was what she needed, "I do not believe that all is lost." She thought about Jasper for a moment wondering where he was, "if it were I would not still feel this connection to him, and I would not hold onto hope" She held onto it hard, sometimes too hard. She wanted everything to go back to normal but normal was now in the past.

She had to look ahead, try and Matsu was saying become stronger. "force severed that had to be extremely painful and lonely" Rianna could not imagine being without the force that it would tear at her soul to be severed so. She would not think on this too long it was awful. They pair walked along quietly as if conspiring but just talking quietly to each other.

Matsu looked at Rianna and she understood that hope.... More then one knew as she brought her hand up and rubbed at the small itching sensation on her chest below her heart. Not trying to make a show but memories of her hope were there while she smiled with some moisture in her eyes. "There is always hope sometimes it comes when we least expect it. My wife when she turned found her way back but it took something big to reignite that flicker." She didn't expose herself but showed the scar that had damaged and warped the tattoo before straightening her clothing. "Sometimes you have to be prepared to shock them back to their senses and the price." Matsu held her arms out to indicate while a tear came down her cheek. "Sometimes the price of saving someone is they will wait for you to join them."

Now she was feeling sadness and regret remembering all of it, that moment and kept walking while she changed her thoughts to being severed from the force and her mind was thinking of that moment... Of that time and how it had rallied, had fought and raged, despaired and plotted. "It is painful, like being deafened to the galaxy or blinded and trying to see the galaxy through the crack in a door. I would not wish it upon anyone and yet I know that it can be needed for dangerous darksiders. I was lucky, I was smart, I walked in the light and never held any fear from the wall of light that was used. I had no reason to and that comfort brought me much, more then many know or could think of." Now she was rambling a little but it was a point of pride she had found. "Also helps that when faced with infinite rage and despair or rising from the ashes I found solace in the light."

Her smile remained reaching the ship and she looked at Rianna. "But lets think upon happy memories shall we, happy thoughts that bring joy to the sadness and can lighten the mood. I am certain you have found great purpose within the medical field now that you are not hampered or constrained. A powerful and strong woman like yourself unburdened to travel with the Silver Cross and Mandalorians medical fleet I have heard rumors about yes?" She had a smile while heading inside and showing the E'ron class around with guest and crew quarters, the galley and common rooms before ending at her room and entering. "The ship is my home, you are a guest so the crew is at your disposal and anything you need from me Rianna say the word. We are headed to a place where the lightside of the force runs strong and to rejuvenate."

Happy memories there were times Rianna could not remember a happy moment and why it had not driven her into the darkside she could only think that it was because of those around her with their life affirmations, and genuine offers of friendship. Matsu seemed genuinely concerned about how she felt.

The dark side had it ways she knew and what was happening with Ordo could not be anymore first hand, or faith testing. She could only hope that finding out more about Coruscant, and what else had happened could she find the way to bring him back. And Matsu was very well informed. "Yes I have been working to get the medical fleet built up for the mandalorians, and at times I do work with the Silver Jedi."

Sometimes there was no need of her among the Jedi, but among the Mandalorians there always seemed a need. Was it all the fighting? Rianna smiled.

"Matsu, you have not told me exactly where we are going" Rianna walked slowly with her as they talked, it was interesting to see her in this light so full of conversation.

"Do we have to have a plan?" Matsu grinned a little while going through the ship there were plenty of places they could go and things to see. So many wonders of the galaxy as it were and after their adventures looking for healing crystals, and Manaan well she and the jedi master could stand to do a few things less exciting. Relaxing maybe but not being to comfortable as they went around the galaxy. Matsu set the course as Harmony came to her. "Set course for the Fyrth system, we'll begin there." A small smile on her face while she looked at Rianna grinned. "There are some life crystals I know about that might help with your healing." Matsu was looking at her and offered a seat in the one room with the fod while a holomap of the galaxy appeared. "Is there anywhere you like? I know of a few hidden crystals that were great for healers aside from crystals of fire."

[member="Matsu Ike"]

Rianna listened intently was it [member="Matsu Ike"] desire for them to find these crystals. She paused looking at the woman beside her, "Matsu what you are saying touches me deeply, I don't know what say, and I'm honored that you would think of this" Rianna studied the young woman carefully.

"Healing crystals of any kind I have always found to be quite difficult to find, the properties of such need to be so clear, so precise." Rianna walked on, "crystals of many designs have properties they say a rose quartz will help with love, it all depends." Rianna had never found that some of the gems had an affect on anything but still it merited mentioning.

Rianna straightened up for a moment, "What crystals are you aware of?" Not that she wanted Matsu to think of everything, but perhaps she knew of something that Rianna did not. Afterall Rianna did not know everything.

"The healing crystals of fire, the padawan name day crystals, life crystals, the Ankarres Sapphire.... There are several throughout the galaxy, crystals that could be used to heal and much like parts of the galaxy they are sometimes hidden." Matsu looked at her with a smile but pulled out a small box. "The jedi order gives out healing crystals on a padawan's name day, it is a small thing but the healing can happen. The sapphire there is one known of it but others have claimed there being more, healing crystals we have worked to find and life crystals are rare but not impossible to find in the right markets." Matus sat there while the ship was traveling to hyperpsace.

"My intent was always to try and gathering things towards a goal, one of those goals was the creation of a hospital and that has happened. The Silver Jedi have created in the Outer Rim worlds of all places a hospital, free to the pubic that uses donations and is funded by various governments in Silver Jedi space. The Silver Cross makes its dock there and your mandalorian ships are always welcomed. It is your place built from your kind heart as much as Leori's and Maya's. Might not be perfect but much like the galaxy trying to do the best with what is available." She laid the box open and slid it with the force to Rianna.

"That is mine and my daughters name day crystals, I suppose you could consider them a foundation for the building of your cache of crystals. Something to get it started as we looked for more."

[member="Matsu Ike"]

She now understood they were to travel to find more in order to be able to help others. "I have looked in many places on my travels at times I had felt like I was within the grasp of finding a life crystal, only to find it was something else" Rianna shook her head glad to hear that the Silver Jedi had been able to build a hospital but in truth now considering the workings of what one single person had done, she would not be seeking out the hospital at the edge of the galaxy.

Rianna knew that she was not welcome nor were her mandalorian relatives for all the pretty words that had been spoken this she knew Matsu was trying to be a jedi kind and honorable. "I will remember the hospital Matsu, we are busy building hospitals and clinics throughout mandalorian space it is so desperately needed" War did that she thought, it did a lot. "May all our endeavors lead to helping others"

This made her smile greatly, "So you plan on taking me crystal looking?" She asked pretty certain she had gotten that part right.

Matsu looked at her and gave a nod of her head to that. "Yes we are going crystal looking but we are going to use soemthing we never hd before." She moved now while the ship was going off to make the jump to hyperspace. "Before it was luck, this time we have the advantage. I used what contacts on Shri-Tal the silver jedi have and managed to track down a seller of the crystals. He is hidden away on Coruscant selling his wares through the holonet but his crystals are in the Unknown regions. We are heading there to get some be it through favor or payment." Matsu held a small smile on her face for Rianna while she laid out some more things. "We will have more then enough going for us in the end to find it and your endeavors will succeed. Noble intentions are some of the best for gaining hearts and minds. I hope each hospital you make is safe."

[member="Matsu Ike"]

"Yes I hope each hospital we make is safe as well, as all should be" Rianna smiled as much as she felt she was able to, "Advantages this time, your knowledge never ceases to amaze me Matsu, what in the galaxy amuses you, or becomes your hobby? Or is it that all of this is your hobby?"

A broken heart often forced those around her to reevaluate and do things selflessly for others thinking it would help the one they last. Rianna understood that feeling, that emotion too well.

but what made Matsu tick.

Matsu looked at her. "Well I learned long ago the dangers one could face. If we are not willing to help each other and make things safe in the galaxy we will never be able to fulfill our duty. To promote peace, not the peace you get from a piece of paper. Those can be dangerous. Peace true peace is not about a treaty it is about the hearts and minds of those who are doing it and that is what must be used to make it. The people, not the jedi we can protect every person in the galaxy and all it takes is one with a weapon, one with a grudge to want to take control and oppress others."

"We cannot fix all of those problems, we cannot force others to get along when jedi themselves can barely get along. You saw it firsthand, the jedi fight when not the sith then they go after each other. Forming factions and sects within the order, forming allies and enemies to try and make sure one group of like minded jedi are in power and elevate those who are like them." Matsu looked at her and smile while she stood there only laying her arms out on the table to expose the tattoo's in old aerubesh writing and symbols from Tython or others ruins. Then there were scars, sections where the muscles were damaged and flesh discolored more so."

"See I learned long ago the cost of trying for peace and trying to force it, in seeing the ones I love who fought to make the galaxy a safe place and slowly in time became corrupted to the darkside because they slowly realized the dangerous nature of fighting through actions, through words. That evil will always exist, that the forces of good only need to lose their way, lose their friends and they will be just like all the rest. I failed to help her until the end when her saber nearly pierced my heart and fire rained from the sky, when she gave her life to preserve mine. I vowed to use all of this, all my knowledge to help those who seek peace."

It was a lengthy speech but Matsu covered her arms while she stood there. Then she sat down more looking at Rianna. "You Rianna have a purpose, a cause, a vision. It isn't ruling the galaxy through fear, it isn't making your ego the focus by forcing a pece treaty that ignores the people of the galaxy in favor of what your grand plan is. To have a piece of paper saying peace has been attained when it is failing, it isn't order throughout the galaxy enforced with an army. You wish to heal, you wish to protect and you wish to be a person others can look to for a better way. Nothing is perfect but it is something that I can support and maybe in the end find peace with myself honoring my wife's sacrifice."

[member="Matsu Ike"]

"Sacrafices are often made without thought, people just react to do what is right." Rianna thought about Jas'ika, "My riduur is not himself anyone who knows him would know that he is a good honorable man, and that his behavior was...coerced." It was the only word she could think of.

"He made sacrafices that no one remembers now, I don't feel I've made enough." Rianna was thoughtful there was quite a bit to know about Matsu, "I have never known a greater reward than having someone look up and say thank you. Who needs rewards of credits and ships when there is the unifying of families, the extending of a life that was nearly gone, or knowing that you made a difference"

Rianna didn't think about purpose, "I hope my purpose is able to continue to help others, and if you are going to help me to be able to continue to do that. I am here to do it." She smiled again, a natural pose for her to feel happiness.

"Well I'm hungry, whats to eat?" Rianna was hungry, she was always hungry

Matsu was nodding in agreement and at the mention of food she looked at her. "Oh food is good, yes plenty of food." She always found herself hungry as well and moved about going into the galley section as it opened. The door sliding opened to reveal a fully stocked kitchen as Matsu went to the crates and containers. "Do you have any preferences on what you want? I always find myself in serious need of a lot of red meat after a hard days work. Or just from using the force I want to eat everything."

[member="Matsu Ike"]

It was the most food she had seen since leaving the palace on Alderaan. It amazed her always how people could eat so much, "I tend to eat very light, mostly salads, with a protein once in a whlie, and tea." She almost lived on tea at times it was a warm comforting friend who often helped her to relax and find the truth of the day in after thought and analysis.

"Red meat, is that due to your metabolism?" Always the Doctor, or the healer looking to learn something new.

"I burn through a lot of energy with the force, using it to keep away the pain and move my body is more taxing them some realize." She wasn't bitter about it, in fact she had been seeing healers to keep it from getting worse but that didn't mean it wouldn't hurt, that is didn't take her a lot of strength to keep using the force and when she was severed it was the most painful. Now she was sitting here eating and her damaged connection to the force is what phased her, drove her further and further towards just relaxing. She had gotten some healing from Leori which helped and other healers within the order plus she had the eye of the sun that could empower and protect her. "I usually eat more then most but it serves a purpose to keep me able to move an not waste away on some bed."

"So then you are literally burning up everything you eat with the effort to keep moving" It was the only thing that made sense really. When in pain the body worked harder, it would therefore need more food to keep up.

Rianna didn't sense the pain which was unusual her senses usually so heightened that she could not help but sense pain. Was her own pain blocking that ability? Was what happened with Ordo having more of an affect than she thought?

She did not feel different, she felt she understood. She knew the problem, and ..

She looked to Matsu again, "Why do you think the darkness works so hard to claim servants?"
