DESCRIPTION
Constructed during the days when Maple Harte was still known as Uri Udinia, this unique, cortosis weaved cane sports a pair of very small shotos built into it in two different area, one shoto emitted from the bottom of the cane, another one emitted from one end of the cane's handle. The weapon has a cortosis weave, which allows it to withstand lightsaber blows. This weapon was used by Uri for her entire time as a knight, and only discarded after her final mission as a Jedi on Mimban. Abandoning the weapon in a hidden vault on Dantooine, Maple must journey there to retrieve it, only to find the area crawling with kinrath spiders...
Strengths:
Can cut through many materials with relative ease.
The way the cane is built, based on the real life Shaolin Ox-Horn Cane, allows for complex attacks involving the whole of the weapon, including smashing, poking, entraping, and close range interlocking spins and swipes. Her style has elements of french stick fighting and baritsu, combined with Ataru, when she uses it.
Cortosis weave cane shaft protects the cane itself from being cut in half and lightsaber internals.
Weaknesses:
Cortosis-ore will short the blade if in contact.
Limited range of the shotos and the close range nature of the weapon, as well as the added weight, means it does not have the same level of fluidity to its attacks, forcing more precise timing when executing attacks, as well as an ability to predict an opponents response. This is very much a specialist weapon
Repeated blows on one area in a short time leaves that part hot, which runs a risk during combat if they grip an area subject to repeated blows
