STRENGTHS
- Song of Blades: The Songsteel makes the weapon able to resist lightsaber attacks, added also by the Force imbuement.
- Cut and Edge: The Force imbuement plus the physical processes for the the edge make it extremely sharpe and able to cut through almost anything.
- Swing and Slice: Aside from the decorative Titanium and Auromidium alloys, the sword is extremely light for its size due to the primary use of Songsteel.
- Burn it: The method of Force Imbuement and lava crystal into a the blade gives it a flaming and heat component.
WEAKNESSES
- Large: The weapon is very large, a greatsword for ordinary people and therefore extremely difficult to use.
- Larger: The weapon is not made to be concealed and except you are very tall, very big and have a wide trenchcoat, you won´t be able to conceal it.
- Loosing edge: Urizen can get serious damage if applied with too much force against too strong and durable targets.
- Know limits: Due to the composition of the metals, the weapon can not damage other Songsteel weapons efficiently.
- Force Void: Any effects which void the Force like void stones or ysalamiri are negating the Force imbuement.
DESCRIPTION
Forged in the Arx Tyrannis Mountains on Vandemar, in the deepest halls of Highcastle, the forge of the Olympus Vulcanus, Urizen is the most incredible weapon created on Vandemar so far. Lancer-blasters, Praetorians Sarrissas or the Battleblades may be high grade equipment, but Urizen is a piece of art.
The Artifex Forgelord of Highcastle and the High Imperator Aurelian Sigismund himself worked together on this weapon for six weeks without pause, without break and many failed attempts. The choice of the steel was elementary, but to get it to react with the Lava crystals and maintain a form and cutting edge, seemed nigh impossible for a while. Through many nights the combinations, the tempering, the alloy connections were tried. Hammers and bellows were heard all night and day.
Once they found the proper methods, combinations and tempering, they proceeded to craft a weapon which is unique in its own way. Unlike a lightsaber, near-weightless and described as 'elegant', nor a sword enchanted by the dark mysteries of Sith Alchemy, this weapon was pure craftsmanship and technology combined with elementary Force. The energy loaded into the blade gives it similar attributes than those of a lightsaber, nearly equaling its melting potential.
The blade seems as it would melt any moment, but the heat distribution and containment is perfected in a way that it never generates too much temperature that the weapon would damage itself. On contact it unleashes its heat, cutting and burning through nearly anything with ease. The weapon is a perfectly balanced bastard-sword in the hands of Aurelian Sigismund, mastercrafted to meet his strength, size and endurance, supporting him more than it exhausts him.
