Using art from online.

Hello, I am in the middle of making a custom species submission and I started thinking about what to use as a reference picture, I was going to use one of my own drawings but alas I am a terrible artist. Instead I took some artwork from deviant art and edited it in paint because I needed to add some things in order for it to look like my species. Is it ok to use those pictures as long as I give credit to the original artist? Thanks for the help!

In all Submissions there is "Image Credit" where you put the link to the website that has the image, not the direct image

You can alter the image as long as credit is given

Yes, you must link and name the artist (if known). Also note that you edited the image.
