| Utinni Works is a Corporation that is uniquely situated as a subsidiary of the larger Von Sorenn Industries and one of only a scant few corporations - or perhaps the only known corporation - to be wholly owned and operated by Jawas [save for the legal department which is comprised of individuals from the parent corporation, Von Sorenn Industries]. Following in the footsteps of the well-known Jawa species and their preference for securing scrap and producing unique designs - as well as selling refurbished and discovered technologies [all of which are legally obtained, obviously]. Keeping the unique experience of purchasing goods from Jawas - as mentioned above - Untinni Works maintains a number of storefronts and facilities that are operated entirely by Jawas - specifically those that have been contracted out for a season or more on a rotating basis to ensure that all Jawa clans are given a chance to obtain some semblance of wealth, prestige, and renown among their kind. The corporation itself produces unique, semi-unique, and limited production lines of Jawa-based technologies or those that are handcrafted by Jawas [such as droids, ion-based weaponry, and surprisingly enough, scrap armor]. Utinni Works also provides a primary focus on the wellbeing and employment of Jawas across the Confederacy of Independent Systems - and also provides to entities that work to bring up the Jawa image as well as fight against such deplorable activities as "Jawa Tossing". |
| HISTORICAL AND GENERAL INFORMATION |
| At the height of the Confederacy First Mandate and the acquisition of Trendivar by the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the Trade Federation of Trendivar - a now-defunct corporation - was absorbed by Von Sorenn Industries, which in turn secured these new holdings and developed additional expansions, which lead to the founding of Utinni Works. Though Utinni Works only hires on Jawas to maintain their storefronts and produce their unique products - they still maintain close ties to the Confederacy of Independent Systems - with any surplus items or productions being offered first and foremost to the denizens of the Southern Systems, at a reputable discount in some areas, so that all may enjoy the hard and honest work of the Jawas, while appreciating the gifts that the Great Tinkerer bestows upon the Jawa species. |
