History:
Initially a generic variety of wheat brought from off world, the initial strain was predominantly used across both planets. As time went on, the initial strain began to mix with a new strain that had been found growing wild on the planet. The two strains were crossbred and a new strain, known to laymen as Uystraoan Wheat, was created.
As the plant was easily grown and simple to maintain, the new strain was quickly adopted and saw widespread use throughout the system. Now, it is practically the only wheat grown on the planet and exported out to other systems.
