Alor of Clan Gred, Mando'ad'jetii

- Legs: The V-3's movement is provided by four legs mounted to the main body with a hip assembly. This assembly is mounted to the body with a rotor, allowing the whole body to rotate while the legs remain stationary. These legs allow the droid to operate in terrain most astromechs would be unable to work in, and can fold into the body when used in a starfighter or powering down for recharge.
- Legs allow the droid to work in rough terrain.

- Lack the flight jets of many other models.

The V-3 astromech is quite possibly one of the weirdest droid designs to ever come out of CST. While previous models didn't stray too far from the norm, this new design was quite different. The droid was mounted with four clawed legs as apposed to wheels, tracks, or repulors. These legs are used in its main function of operating in terrain too rough for typical mechs. Like other droids CST has been involved with, the V-3 is programmed to make gaining a personality and quirks very easy, and able to operate more independently than other droids. Whether this is a plus or a down side is often more up to the buyers than anything else.
