- Logistics Frigate - Military and frontier supply transport. Hauls a lot of stuff.
- Anti-Starfighter - Excellent point defense systems for warding off smaller attack craft.
- Blockade Runner - Fast for a frigate. Good choice when you need a quick getaway.
- Capital Engagements - Doesn't stand up so well to other capital ships.
- Solo Operations - Not meant to be without an escort. Lacks the combat utility of a patrol vessel.
- Civilian Grade Systems - Meant for the civilian market. Despite its military value it has comparatively poor sensors and deflector shields.
The Vakbeor is Gallofree's black sheep, a bastardized KDY design which never took off on the galactic market. Advertised as an anti-pirate freighter it nevertheless found popularity among criminal cartels who value its rugged utility. It is a glorified supply ship but excels in this role. Gallofree cargo frigates are most often found in the Territories, Corporate Sector and Wild Space where they remain an affordable option compared to other modes of bulk transport.
GT will service any malfunctioning or damaged Vakbeors somehow still in operation. Just don't ask them to admit they had any hand in building the damn thing.
