Intent: Plot hook for high ranking Sith and Raien to use in their roleplaying.

Development Thread: Offsite History
Its beginning , there are many such threads as this, this one gives a good idea of the overall beginning arc.

Manufacturer: Raien Keth / Sphere

Model: N/A

Affiliation: The One Sith / Raien Keth

Modularity: N/A

Production: Semi Unique. A half dozen coins left in circulation randomly distributed or in collections, with six more in Raien’s possession.

Material: Golden Fragments of this

Description: A few pieces of an old Sith sphere, shattered into remains, then cut into coins, each bearing an old dead language of runes. The metal coin has lost the will of the original ship, but still retains a subtle darkside connection. Able to slightly alter the tone of a place, corrupting those handling it very slowly over time. The average time it would take to notice the corruption would be a week, for it to really effect someone it might take a month or more. Contact would encourage it, but being in the same room nearby would be enough. It has none of the strength or power of the original ship, no grand ability to manipulate those around it, or communicate beyond vague impressions. Force users can sense the presence of the darkside in the coin reasonably easily, but constant exposure over a period of time will have an effect on their own force connection, slowly and gradually doubting what they sense from the metal.

Sphere as it was known, was found on Thyrsus, it had a direct and vested interest in rebuilding the sun guard, and fostering old Sith ideals. It saw Raien Keth as a young warrior wanting to bring his people, the Echani, out of their period of obscurity, and give them a homeworld on Thyrsus to be proud of. Latching onto this, sphere manipulated him away from the Dark Jedi cults covert actions and toward direct Sith ideals over a period of about a decade.

Finally at the apex of its victory it was shattered on the orders of the then Sith council, fearing it a threat, Raien acted before they could, creating coins out of the sphere, to seed throughout the galaxy for his own ends. Now hundreds of years later, only a few coins remain in collections, but they still carry the trace of history, and a darkside past in their metal.

Use: Plot hook to use in dominions for corruption on a different level, a way of darkening an area or a character temporarily for character or location development. Another example of another writer and I playing it out for flavor. A fun relic to keep in your Sith's trophy collection, tomb or vault. It will eventually be a link for Raien and others to a currently unknown species submission I will submit at a later date.

The language is currently unknown on the coins, and will remain so, with no way to discover it. Not until I get a race sub up!
This does not belong on the submission, simply state they are an alien language or omit this portion entirely.

Abuse to watch out for: Someone putting this in a galactic banks bank box, or saying a dozen worlds are suddenly minting these coins. One or a brief spurt on a planet might be a fun unique RP, any more than that is overkill. The coins cannot be reproduced containing the darkside connection, their likeness can and that could influence a culture for a one off RP till people got wise to it IC.
As the production was semi-unique and it was forged from a limited resource, it would be impossible to reproduce this without another sentient Sith Meditation Sphere. The warning is appreciated but unnecessary.

If your goal is to have them treated as small nexuses of the dark side then be aware that the only properties they will retain are the ability to corrupt individuals within a personal distance between them and the coins, touch being the most effective method. They can radiate unease or uncertainty as a byproduct of alchemy, which will go in line with the portion quoted above referencing doubt, but they cannot taint a large area with the dark side, or act like a "virus" by spreading a sense of corruption over a population of any size.

Hey thank you for taking the time to review.

Language and Warning - Removed as requested.

On the corruption, yep that's the idea. No great power over the land itself, something subtle. So a character could pick it up and have some interest without it being immediately obvious they are being corrupted, only the sense the coin has the darkside in it. It'd make a nice plot device for an individual down the way but nothing overpowered. He's going to use one in the dominion for example placing it in or as a relic in a temple as it's built, to aid the students there.
