Valdas like all other of his family line has brown skin, and naturally crimson hair that flows down to about the center of his back. His body is heavily muscled even though he didn’t train with the other hunters and warriors formally. Valdas can usually be found wearing different fur coats from animals he himself had killed in his youth and had fashioned for himself. His jewelry all consists of the teeth of the animals he killed as well.

BIOGRAPHY:
Some were born to follow the path set before them by their ancestors and others weren’t. Valdas was one of those who since birth rebelled against everything his father and tutors tried to force upon him. What Valdas called cowardice and fear is what his father called what needed to be done to protect their people from the rest of the galaxy. It wasn’t acceptable to Valdas, he thought that there should be more to life than sitting in their own little corner of the galaxy hiding from everyone else. This did of course get him labeled as disrespectful and ill fit for the throne, but due to him being an only child there was no other choice.

Like all other nobility Valdas was given some of the highest quality learning that was to be provided so he’d be prepared for his ascension to the throne. Everything from history of the galaxy at large down to the mathematics and engineering of technology was forced upon him. Though some days his father’s advisor would allow Valdas to go out and mingle with the future hunters and warriors of T’Chaka.

Valdas would watch the hunters with the most potential and even train with them learning how they fought and what they were taught so he could use it in the future. Among these potentials there was one woman he kept finding himself attracted to. From what all the others told him her name was Makeeda, and it seemed that she was equally curious about him. Thus instead of telling her who he was straight out and knowing the trials were soon to come Valdas gave her a reason to ensure that she came back and survived the trials.

While the hunters were off on their trials Valdas took one of his own. He used the training that he had learned and was the first prince to have left the village and survived the wild for two days and when he returned he came back with trophies from the animals he had killed. Of course the kingdom and the villages went into a frenzy with his disappearance but when he returned that worry turned to outrage. Someone who was supposed to ascend to the throne had willingly threw his life on the line for a few days of hunting. Hudun couldn’t accept this of his son, but didn’t disown him due to the fact he could no longer sire children.

Valdas had been there when the surviving hunters returned, and when he saw Makeeda he suddenly felt a lot lighter and carefree. Following through on his promise he told Makeeda who he really was. He had kept the secret mainly because he thought it would intimidate her like it did many others.

Soon after the two got into a relationship where they would sneak off to spend time with each other. Hudan’s advisor saw this attraction blooming between Valdas and Makeeda, and planned to use it to his advantage so he could ascend to the throne. So in the evenings he would consult Valdas knowing his hate of their culture and religion, and planted numerous ideas in his head about how he and Makeeda would never be together while Hudan was still living.

Valdas easily agreed, and knew that he was being used but went along with it anyway. Together they poisoned Hudan and let the man fall ill to the poison. Many thought it was due to a harsh life or some type of disease, but only the advisor and Valdas knew the truth. The advisor planned to let Valdas take the fall for the death ofter Hudan’s death, but Valdas had acted first and killed him making it appear as though he had took his own life after the death of his king. No one besides Valdas knows the truth behind the two deaths, not even his wife.

Then Makeeda gave birth to their daughter. The apple of Valdas' eye, he cared for his daughter greatly and knew what was to come. When he was a child the shaman and priests had came to take him away from the castle and teach him how to use his gifts. They had even tried to take him away while he was asleep. Hudan was more of a forgiving person and pardoned them knowing they were trying to do what was best for their people and follow their culture. On the other hand when they tried to do the same to Valdas' daughter, Valdas murdered the shamans without any regret. The next day he left them out and hanging from a tower of the castle as a sign of what would happen to any others that tried to take his daughter away from him.
