Valek is a tall Gungan who generally seems and is very friendly, but he can be very shy when introduced to new people.
Valek was born to a poor Gungan family on Naboo 22 years ago. Valek never attended school and suffered abuse from his father, a war veteran suffering from ptsd. To cope with this he would write in his free time. After his father passed away when he was 12, he had to take up several local jobs to provide for his family because his mother had become a drunk. After his siblings became old enough to move out, he left his mother and became a bard on the streets of Gunga city. After he made several controversial poems and songs, he was forcibly removed and banned from Gunga city. Now he wanders the galaxy as a nomadic bard, writing about his homesickness and the things he experiences while travelling.
