BIOGRAPHY
"I... fear water. What's so strange about it?"

Valera, the Lurking Spider, as known by the ones she had fought before, was born on a spring day on the planet of Coruscant to the family of a Republic soldier and a teacher. The soldier was her mother, Vanessa Morrow, and the teacher of handicraft was his father Theodore Morrow. Being a simple child, she didn't have much needs, but the strangest part of her was her aquaphobia which appeared soon after the girl's birth.

It was rather unusual to see a person who fears water, so the parent of her took her to doctors who then tried to find a way out of that. But they couldn't as they found no reason for the girl's fear. She had been to no tragic events, nor was there anything else suggesting to a possible reason for the phobia.

The girl was raised in extreme conditions, but the good thing about her was the fact that she didn't ask for much. She didn't want to have fancy toys, she didn't need her parents' attention as long as she stayed away from water. Most of her days were spent in her own room where she listened to music and wrote something.

Years passed and the phobia for water seemed to weaken a bit, though the woman still couldn't touch it when she was a teenager (nor can she now). She gained a few friends in her school. The friends were people like-minded - they wrote diaries, played role-play games and wrote novels. The girl had finally met the people she needed in her life.

But the influence of her mother's job was too strong for the girl to become a writer. So instead, she took on the journey of learning how to fly a starfighter and when she turned adult, she, unlike many of her friends or acquaintances, knew what job she would be doing.

But how can a aquaphobic starfighter survive in reality?
