[+] Valin is very sensitive to the Force itself, and his sensitivity allows him to feel currents in the Force. Cursed with this ability since his birth, him and his two other siblings have this ability. This makes it difficult for Valin to be ambushed by others, especially by Force users. Furthermore, Valin can feel out Force artifacts very easily, though the strength of the artifact can damage him if he is not careful.
[+] Charismatic and charming, Valin's smile can easily win a battle before blasters are drawn. Having worked as a smuggler for several years, searching for his sister, Valin has had no issue bartering his way out of combat or death. His wiles and charm have disarmed soldiers or bounty hunters, and may have even lowered a few drawers.
[-] Valin is not the strongest man alive, and even though he is rather agile, does not have the physical strength other men have. Brutal fights and grapples are a huge weakness to Valin.
[-] Valin is not trained in combat very well, outside of using his blaster. Though he can hold his own in a fist-fight, he cannot fight those that are well trained. Furthermore, Force users can easily kill Valin, as he lacks any ability to stop them.
