brought starlight beacon to their attention. The ancient station had some disassembled vector starfighters within it and a few vanguard speeders. The kyber safety system of it is different requiring the lightsaber of a jedi be attached to the cannon so that it may be fire. Limiting and leaving the jedi vulnerable should they need to use the system as a weapon but it is not a rifle that uses the saber as ammo... it is just a connection on the outside of the system to unlock it which makes it unable to be used by non jedi. The color of the lightsaber also determines the color fo the shots that are released from the cannon in a nice touch for the different jedi users. Sasori has worked on the cannons to try and keep them relatively simple and traditional... but it can be used on starships, fighters, vehicles and even removed for single shot uses before requiring a new power source and cooldown as the cannons run hot. Further works have been going itno the research of the vanguard cannons and they were built up to be put out for larger scale production. Improving the design in ways and changing it out as the ability for it to fire is drastically reduced but it is tweaked to fire stronger blasts at a longer distance.

- Variable: Designed like the High Republic vanguard speeders cannon. It can be removed and used for single shots before overheating or attached to a starfighter/speeder to provide jedi specific cannons. Improvements have been able to make it wrist and shoulder mounted.
- Kyber Locked: Designed with the safety feature of the High Republic model, the canon requires a lightsaber be used to unlock it on the outside and the crystal color changes the color of the shots.
- Reverse Engineered: There is not much known about where the technology came from the the jedi of the High Republic had developed powerful cannons for their ships and speeders that could deliver high amounts of damage with their energy output.
- Range: Further enhancements and work on it have improved the range of the cannons and the focusing of the materials.
- Engineering: The reverse engineering is imperfect, with the inability to fully recreate the high repubhlic techniques and instead substituting modern ones to try and fill the gaps which leaves the cannons with a nearly non-existent rate of fire as it needs a heavy recharge time. With low amounts of power able to be focused by the jedi.
- Kyber crystals: Using the design of the finalizer and enhancing the power of the weapons with crystals gives the ships a secondary effect as the crystals used for weapons can be explosive if cracked.
- Sleg: A powerful energy enhancer, the sleg absorbs and channels the excessive heat generated by the power cell. Making them maintain a stronger level of power but also increases the chances that they could explode if the heat sink is damaged.
