Force Abilities:
Strengths:
Weaknesses:
Appearance:
A youngish man with light skin and dark hair, Varon sports an athletic build from continued personal training and discipline. A barely notable tuft of white hair sits at the front of his head, the only sign of aging notable on the man. His expression is continually muted and seldom changes; his words and tone are similarly short and to the point.
Biography:
The first to discover his gift were the Sith, one of whom took Varon on as an apprentice. While he was of ready mind to explore these new powers of the force, he was not quite of ready personality. The acts he saw weighed on him, and his utilitarian viewpoints were put to the test under cruel Sith methodology. He continued in the teachings and remained silent about his own concerns, all the while wondering if there would be a better way.
It would be the Jedi who would expose this alternative to him. Sensing the true contrition Varon felt for his part in the Sith’s ambitions and noting he had yet to commit any atrocities first hand, one of their knights offered up redemption to him. The conflicted Varon accepted the offer; he became the knight’s new apprentice, who was proud that he had prevented the descent of another Sith,
Among the Jedi , he was touted as a victory without violence. The notion did not sit well with him; Varon could not help but feel the celebration given by his redeemer to be naive. He knew himself to be a unique case, and what was said and learned in his own redemption could not possibly apply to most other Sith. The ways of the dark side were terrible and alluring, but the ways of the light side seemed hopeless to the conflicted Varon.
Benevolent as the Jedi were, he could not convince himself that they saw the galaxy for what it was, with optimism tainting their views. The Sith did, but with malice tainting their actions.
There had to be another way.
And so, one day Varon abandoned the Jedi order without notice, departing to explore, and perhaps find what ways would bring not good or evil, but sustainable balance to the galaxy.

Strengths:
Utilitarian Strategist – Never content with a good solution, Varon is often searching and plotting to find the best solution. He is a quick thinker, and capable of regarding situations with a viewpoint for the greater picture.
Weaknesses:
Devout Practicalist – While Varon might hold genuine concern, and even compassion for the galaxy and those who dwell within it his, personal philosophy is cold. His solutions have often cost him the alliances of those who found them untenable. Useful alliances have been broken over this stubbornness.
Kneel for Nothing – As far as he is concerned, both orders have failed to appeal to him, and due to this Varon carries little inclination to place his faith in any sort of order. Anyone asking him for faith will find their request denied. At best, he views organizations and orders as tools to be used, and not structures that should be supported.
