- Intent: An engagement / wedding gift for Telis Taharin-Zambrano from Ingrid.

- Role: Telis’s companion and war mount.
- Permissions: N/A
- Links: The Sangnir | Basiliskan
- Age: 15 years
- Force Sensitivity: Non-Force User
- Species: Sithspawn, The Sangnir, Formerly: Basiliskan
- Appearance: The dragon is about fifteen metres long from its nose to the end of its tail. Its wingspan is nearly thirty metres. As a result, it is a very large animal. Before was sithspawn, he wasn’t that big, it became like that by the process. The dragon has gray and red scales, his eyes are dead blue. What can still be very striking and very quickly noticeable is that the dragon is not alive, it is an undead animal, quite precisely a vampire, thanks to his existence as a sangnir. Due to its size, it can also weigh a lot, weighing several tons. He can fly with its wings and can even carry more passengers on its back if needed. Flying in the air can provide a dreadful sight.
- Name: Varvad
- Loyalties: Telis Taharin
- Notable Possessions: N/A
- Personality: It’s basically a calm dragon who is extremely loyal to Telis. If he is well-fed, he will not even attack the smell of blood, but if he is hungry, he may go wild and only the Sith Lord can reassure him. In relation to other people, in most cases, he behaves the way his master does. If Telis is direct and friendly with someone, then Varvad will be the same, if the man is hostile, then he will behave the same way. If someone threatens or wants to hurt Telis, the dragon tries to protect him. He actually has quite a few traits like a dog, although he can also decide who he likes and who he doesn’t. She loves it when her neck is scratched.
- Training: He understands the common language, through which he can be commanded, but he is also accustomed to telepathic communication. This method is simpler. He was raised in loyalty, bound to Telis through the Force, so he obeys only his commands. He knows several combat commands he can fulfill. He was also trained to be a war mount, or even to engage in such a fighting style. He is also trained to use his mouth / teeth, claws and tail in combat as well.
- Combat Function: War mount, perfectly suited to function as a mount in battle, from which he can control battles, or just fight from his back if necessary. Suitable for both ground and air battles. He can be a scary opponent with his physical strength and physical abilities. However, a huge downside is that fire-based injuries and attacks heal much more slowly and can kill him more easily than anything else. He is able to fight with his physical strength, tail, teeth and claws.
- Bond: Through the Force, he is bound to Telis (it will only be bidirectional if Telis wants to), thanks to which he only accepts the Sith Lord as his owner. Because of this, Varvad will do everything that Telis commands and wants to protect him.
- Undead: Member of the Sangnir species, as a result of which it is undead, which means that it will never grow old or die in old age or in any other natural way. That is, he can only die under external influence, he will not age over time, so he can hopefully stay with Telis for a very long time.
- Dragon: Enough to look at him, and even his size are eloquent. Has strong and large teeth, his claws are also huge and sharp, large and heavy, so can exert great physical force, or he can lift others with his flanges from the ground and drop them from above. And with his tail he can make strong blows.
- Bloodlust: As a member of the Sangnir, he is as thirsty for blood as any member of his kind. Because Varvad is huge in size, it requires a huge amount of blood to consume on a daily basis so that it does not become aggressive and unmanageable. In such a state, he would not even obey Telis.
- Sithspawn: Because of this, the Light Side Force effects have a greater effect on him, making him more sensitive to them.
- Animal: As big and powerful as it is, it makes no more than one animal and only has animal intelligence. He is unable to speak or think in a complex way. He may not be able to comprehend very complex commands. His intellectual level is the same as that of a very smart dog.
- Fire: As his regeneration relies on Anima (just like for the entire species), which is carried through their blood, fire is anathema to the Sangnir and Varvad as well, as is heat-based weapons such as lightsabers and, indeed, the common blaster. He is not necessarily more easily damaged by it, but cauterization makes the process of regeneration much more difficult.
Not much can really be mentioned about the beginning of Varvad’s life, he was born and lived on a planet called Basilisk for fifteen years. Until Ingrid L'lerim has decided to give a really special gift to Telis Taharin-Zambrano for the man’s engagement and wedding. The Eternal Empress hired the right people to catch a basiliskan lizard. While this group was hunting for the lizard, another group made contact with those who had turned Telis to Sangrir before.
Since these lizards, which could also fly, were not as big as he would have liked, Ingrid made a sithspawn out of it for the first time, which increased his size, made him a little smarter. Didn’t want to create a very complicated, new breed, rather he just improved on what she had. It was even simpler, thanks to what she learned from AMCO .
Once that was done, approached the group with the animal, with whom they managed to agree to make a war mount for Telis. That is, the sithspawn is transformed into Sangnir. Once that was done, she had to leave the animal there for the next few months, as he still had to be trained, and it was undertaken locally by the hired trainers to do it.
Over the next few months, the animal learned to obey words, commands, learned to endure being ridden on it to control it. In short, it was tamed and trained to make it a so-called domesticated mount. When the training was over, Ingrid had one last spell that would allow the dragon to attach to Telis to make it easier to control him.
After that, all had to do was take the dragon to Dromund Kaas. Such a gift belonged to the man and he deserved it. Telis Taharin was one of the few people Ingrid could call her friend for whom she did anything. This gift is the least for the man who undertook to be the godfather of the woman’s children as well.
After handing over the gift, Varvad was able to start his new life as a Telis’s war mount and companion.
