Description: What do explorers and refugees have in common?
While this question is indeed an odd one, Verd Constructs, Incorporated saw the answer. Whether it be facing down a bold, new frontier or simply attempting to survive, explorers and refugees alike enjoy security when laying down their heads. After all, no one wants to wake up to enemies knocking down their front door. In light of the fact that such situations are relatively commonplace in the modern Galaxy, the corporation saw fit to create a form of power fence to alleviate some of the security concern.
Dubbed Rapid Response Fencing, this form of enclosure is easily deployed and can be used to secure refugee or expeditionary camps in minutes. The process begins by setting up a number of the Durasteel "posts" about the perimeter of the target area. Each post is equipped with a power cell and a length of thick, "ropes" composed of Durasteel-derived fibers. Once situated, the ropes are extended and easily connect to one another: forming a safe, secure enclosure about the target area.
From here, one has but only to flip a switch to power the fencing. Contact with the ropes from this point forward results in a nasty, shock: enough to keep wildlife and average threats at bay, but not nearly enough to be considered a death fence by any means. While this isn't an infallible form of defense, it is, above all, something that can provide peace of mind to the buyers. That, and it is vastly affordable.
