Intent: Create a new and unique weapon commemorating Veiere Arenais’ promotion to the Silver Assembly, of the Order of the Silver Jedi. This is a modification of a former character's lightsaber, and first apprentice of Veiere Arenais.

SPECIAL FEATURES:
Cross-Guard Lightsaber: Like the cross-guard of an iron sword, this variation of the single-Lightsaber protects the hands from the maneuvers of the enemies blade. To either side, extended a far smaller blade for which can catch and lock within lightsaber combat allowing for better defense and manipulation of the guarded strikes.
Force Imbued: Cleansed and Imbued with the Light Side of the Force, Veiere Arenais has renewed this weapon’s power and capabilities through hours of meditation within the Silver Jedi Temple of Kashyyyk.
Force-activated: The activation Stud of this lightsabers hilt has been built on the inside of the Phrik Casing, the layout of which Veiere has learned through working upon the weapon and therefore knows where to focus upon should he need to activate the Lightsaber; the manner in which he does so through the mild practice of Telekinesis ensures that no others will be able to utilize the weapon against him should he be disarmed.
Trapped grip: Over time and study of his former Apprentice’s weapon, Veiere had learned and been able to dismantle the former First Order Technology, reusing the design to ensure the weapon doesn’t fall into the hands of another Dark-Sider. This Lightsaber will fail to activate/ignite should the hilt detect a foreign user to it’s analytic grip surrounding the hilt, below the crossguard.
Etaan Focusing Crystal: Once placed into the hilt, the blade emitted charges with energy in harmony with the motion of the blade. When countering another blade, the weapon gives off a near-deafening crack and flares with energy. While a lightsaber powered by an etaan will cause others to bounce off its blade, blaster bolts absorb some of the energy from the resonant blade and are increasingly dangerous when redirected at a target.
Before the rise of Caehl Ren, Knight of the First Order and Order of Ren, there was Brennan Cabrol; A boy who grew up under the guidance of a far younger Veiere Arenais whom, living within the Enclave of Svivren back when it used to be of the Jedi Order.
The attack of the One Sith Empire that sent the Jedi Knight into exile, also sent Brennan Cabrol into years of slavery and torture before being freed by the Galactic Alliance and eventually being picked up by the First Order some months later. The boy was of a dire and fractured mental state, which made him a perfect candidate to be retrained as a Disciple under the Order of Ren.
Years later into his Knighthood and service to the Supreme Leader, Caehl Ren (Brennan Cabrol) and Veiere Arenais would encounter one another in battle. An encounter that would sway the mind of the younger, twisted soul and bring to light memories that had been formerly repressed. The pair of them would go on to meet on several more occasions, between long intervals where the Order had begun to suspect the Knights distanced loyalties were becoming unraveled. Finally, Caehl Ren’s disappearance from duty came suddenly and without warning nor sign of explanation. It is rumored however that, due to Veiere’s possession of the Lightsaber, that the Jedi Master killed the Knight of Ren in armed combat.
As for the Lightsaber itself, Veiere Arenais has invested a significant portion of his time in seeking to undo the possessive clutch that the Darkside of the Force had held upon the weapon due to Brennan’s extended time with the First Order, training under the ways of the Knights of Ren. His first objective, before all else was to cleanse the hilt of any residue of the Dark Side, using his experience and control over the Light to purify the weapon, only then setting to the physical side of work.
Most interesting was the Trapped grip, something that required a more technologically minded individual to work on. Fortunately, there were many of those within the Silver Rest, and with some assistance, Veiere was able to reprogram the grip to not only prioritize his presence as the owner of the hilt, but also deactivate the electric charge and instead simply making certain that the ignition toggle wouldn’t fire should the wrong person seek to activate the lightsaber.
STRENGTHS:
Force Imbued: The Lightsaber exerts an aura of strength empowering the user’s blade in being able to slice, cut and pierce through alloys/materials that are otherwise resistant to the average Lightsaber.
Beacon of Hope: The Light Side of the Force flowing around the weapon and the one who wields it will encourage peace of mind and a state of calm and clarity in what might be otherwise chaotic environments.
Etaan Blade: Added strength in deflection of blaster-fire and counter-offense in lightsaber combat.
Beacon of Light: Due to the strong aura of the Light Side of the Force, the user cannot hope to conceal themselves from the sensory abilities of other Force Users, the lightsaber acting like a beacon to others in the surrounding area.
Soul-Bound: Thanks to the Internal activation of the weapon requiring good knowledge of the hilts creation as well as the Trapped Grip, this weapon cannot be utilized by friend nor foe.
Crystal Compression: With limited room within the interior of the lightsaber hilt due to the modifications required for the weapons cross-guard variant, the focusing crystal for which powers the blade has been compressed to compensate. This however has resulted in an unstable energy core and creates a rather volatile blade for which snaps with loose particles of energy and may burn the user least they are wearing protective armor.
