STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
Strengths:
Velok is a master of energy manipulation and Force Drain, although he struggles to control his hunger. He is also superb with Force constructs such as Spears of Midnight Black and Force Wraiths. He has performed a variant of Force Walk on a handful of occasions. His signature powers include Force Bellow.
Weaknesses:
Velok has absorbed the spirits and memories of various individuals, a process that has left him vulnerable to possession. In moments of extremity, his victims have been known to take command of his body and act against his interests in deadly ways.
The power gained through these absorptions is difficult to control, and he has failed many times.
Velok has spent much of his life cataloguing obscure Force techniques. Although he has a few favorites, this extreme generalization has left him vulnerable to specialists.
Mental attacks, for example, have been highly effective against him when employed by mental specialists.
Furthermore, his extremely wide repertoire includes many useless techniques, and the time required to choose between them leaves him vulnerable in many situations.
He is old, tired and weak. His kidneys are failing, and he has a nephrostomy tube leading to a bag strapped to his thigh.
SHIP:
The Wayward Son, a Baudo-class star yacht modified to be a personal library and trophy room.
BIOGRAPHY:
*Original biography: http://starwars-exodus.wikia.com/wiki/Velok
A child of the Gulag Virus's depredations, the last heir of the Blackguards, Velok has spent two hundred years cataloguing every Force technique he can find, while purging the galaxy of unworthy Sith. His agents and gamepieces have included Ashin Varanin, Je'gan Olra'en, and the carbon-frozen Darron Wraith. Age and the Dark Side of the Force have taken their toll on his body. He wears a nephrostomy tube whose bag is strapped to his thigh beneath his ratty Jedi robes.
Oddly for a Whiphid, he is erudite and colloquial; his grasp of Basic is excellent. His powers are diverse and often useless, but he is capable of creating moments of true terror and successfully lying to exceptionally powerful beings. He is willing to sacrifice nearly anything for knowledge and victory, including, at one point, the life of Ori'vod, his best friend. He prefers to keep to the shadows when possible.
