STRENGTHS

• Mestare Crystals: Ven Asher's lightsaber makes use of two Mestare Kyber Crystals, secured by Ven through some less than savory gambling during a trip to Dantooine. These special crystals give Ven's blade the ability to cut through lightsaber resistant material, such as cortosis, without the usual side effects such an action will bring.

WEAKNESSES

• Water: Like most lightsabers, Ven's is not able to be activated underwater. The option to fix this problem presented itself to the former Jedi on one occasion during an extended stay on Coruscant, but in the end his hard earned credits were needed more in the bar.

DESCRIPTION
The lightsaber Ven Asher currently wields is nothing special. He made the blade under the guidance of his master upon his joining of the Silver Jedi Order, and upgraded it slowly over the years of his apprenticeship. While nothing special, Ven has an unusual attachment to the blade, and rarely lets the weapon leave his person, let alone his sight ever since the death of his master. He does not tell anyone why, and those that do notice this odd behavior tend to receive a less than savory response from the ex-Jedi.
