- Kill Switch: Lady Krovane holds a kill switch with which she can shut down the VENATOR should it ever become a threat to her.
- Volatile Code: While it is loyal to Krovane and capable of constantly adapting to a wide variety of situations, should the VENATOR's central processor ever be compromised without a means for it to retreat to an external housing it would react violently and become extremely unstable.
- Virulence: Due to the fact that the VENATOR deals in viral tendencies and data, the chances of the data it influences or interfaces with becoming a virus is very likely. It is for this reason that it is publicly kept on a very tight leash by Lady Krovane.
- Ion Charge: Like any other machine an ionic or electromagnetic charge directly to it or it's housing would compromise the functionality of the VENATOR and render it inoperable until repaired.
- Central Solidarity: The VENATOR cannot rewrite it's central code no matter how hard it would wish to try outside of bolstering it's defenses against a threat coming from anyone other than Lady Krovane.

It was a taxing burden to operate an entire corporation by herself. Especially when she was less inclined to trust anyone she interacted with with information that might compromise her well constructed story. That was until she was approached by a scientist from within her research and development department who passed along an idea that she was both quick to dismiss and fast to implement in her own time.
After acquiring the necessary equipment, programming and data banks she set to work tasking a set of scientists to build the housing for a project none of them would ever live to speak of. A housing that she would place a brand new creation of her very own into that only she would directly interface with. It was not long into her time as the head of the Krovane Corporation that she had finally come to find a companion that she could trust with almost anything.
VENATOR, cultured, programmed and modified from the day she created it soon became the most powerful interfacing system in the Krovane Corporation and on the Lovarrch Station; and under Krovane's watchful eye the mastermind behind the orchestration of potential projects only Krovane would be made aware of.
