Verd Beskar'gam, otherwise translated in Basic as Clan Verd's Mandalorian Armor, is a protective suit of armor designed by Mandalore's own Clan Verd. It was originally designed for usage by Galex Verd, the firstborn son of Clan Verd's patriarch. However, following his untimely murder, the armor was refitted and begrudgingly bestowed upon the "runt-of-the-litter": Isley Verd. The color scheme of the armor, with black representing justice and gold representing vengeance, were not selected by Isley himself, but his overbearing sire. His grief at losing his eldest and favored son pushed Isley to dive into Hutt Space, ill-trained and ill-prepared, in order to avenge his sibling's death. Against all odds, he succeeded, recognizing that the armor had saved his life numerous times throughout the apparent suicide mission.
Upon returning home, Isley was not met with open arms and celebration, but with the same disdain he had received for the entirety of his life. From thenceforth, the young warrior lost all care for bringing honor and glory to the name Verd, but instead vowed to bring glory to the name of Mandalore the Rebuilder. He repurposed the colors of his armor, vowing to bring justice and vengeance upon all those who dare oppose the Mandalore's regime, and even renamed it: "Rebuilder Era-series Medium Armor".
The armor itself is top-of-the-line and is the product of the immense wealth of Clan Verd. It was forged by the greatest of Mandalorian metalsmiths and has been tested by combat to great success. The armor pieces are composed entirely of beskar, the nearly indestructible metal native to Mandalore and its moon, and are therefore resistant to blaster fire, lightsabers, and minor ballistic damage. These plates are worn upon a fire-retardant body glove, which serves to further shield its wearer from potential harms. Furthermore, the armor is equipped with numerous armaments and components which serve to give its wearer a supreme tactical advantage over his prey.
