Personality: Absolutely amoral and disturbed beyond perception, the Sith Lord known only as Vereshin is an enigma of esoteric proportions. He is unabashedly cute in his manner and mischievous to a wicked extent, using courtesy as an excuse to do whatever he wants. As he has grown in experience, his temper has shortened and he now has no tolerance for disrespect. When displeased, his cruelty becomes apparent as he resorts to methods of psychological torture to keep lesser subjects in line.
At the best of times, Vereshin exudes a devilish charm, for which he has become infamous. He is suave and regal, always paying great attention to his appearance. He appreciates silence as opposed to false courtesy and treats his students with a kindness that is aloof, being less averse to harming quiet listeners rather than confrontational Acolytes. He is more astute than what he seems and gives the impression that he is a daydreamer, when he only chooses to pay attention to his surroundings when the circumstances suit him.
A genius by all accounts, Vereshin rose to power within the Sith as a physicist of the Force and heads the most prestigious universities of the Empire. Like any intellectual, he falls into despair if a theory is incorrect. Should his work be going poorly, his attitude towards others becomes foul. Having successfully traveled inside of a black hole and out again, his knowledge of reality is all-encompassing and he holds himself in high regard as a sorcerer. Anybody who questions this is swiftly met with an unspeakable fate.
Distorting reality on extreme levels has affected Vereshin's mind, leaving him prone to irrational behavior. Almost incapable of reason, he is impossible to predict and will lash out when least expected. He exhibits childlike eccentricity and a need to play with his victims. With a love of the arts, he enjoys classical music and can play the piano. He smokes heavily and drinks a copious amount of tea. He is obsessed with small objects which move, most notably slinkies, of which he has a collection.
Curiosity is Vereshin's defining flaw. He compulsively questions his surroundings and enacts harmful feats of magic simply to experiment. He is playful when happy and becomes easily excited when the opportunity arises to practice magic. While he has killed countless people, he is a vegetarian and resents the practice of altering creatures through alchemy. He remains innocent in a bizarre way, having discarded most aspiration to pursue his life as a magus in the purest form.
Appearance: Vereshin is underweight and shorter than average. His skin is just shy of true white and his hair is raven black and dead straight. He is always clean-shaven and preened, with his hair is neatly trimmed and slicked back with a distinctive widow’s peak. He has thick, masculine eyebrows which are arched above a thin and slightly hooked nose. His hands and shoulders are delicate while his facial features appear typically masculine. He has brilliant, lime green irises which glow, with dark discolouration surrounding his eyes.
When undertaking Sith business, Vereshin wears dark, violet robes adorned with black feathers with a hood which covers his face. He covers his eyes with black bandages, which are imbued with a spell to allow him to see through the other side. A space over his mouth is left to allow him to spoke cigarettes with ease. His robes are paired with leather gloves and exaggerated shoulder vestments to make him look larger.
Under casual circumstances, Vereshin favors long, black coats with a standing collar and a long, flared hem. He wears black plus fours and patent lace-up shoes. He wears a thin scarf inside of the collar of his coat, or a cravat, sometimes with a silver pin on the breast. When he is at home or in his chambers, he wears a black cardigan over dark grey suit pants and a shirt, leaving his feet bare when relaxing.
