Appearance: A tall, slight man with a rigid jaw and profound chin, Verin has begun to wear the burden of command well. Often seen with his CIS-Navy approved beard and moustache, Oldo is ever the figure of a respectable human officer. A striking nose and thin lipped, he has found his face grow gaunter as he ages.
Bio:
Born to a family of medical doctors, Verin Oldo was raised on Tauber. Destined for either the noble profession of Medicine or the Naval Academy, Verin chose to pursue his military career. Studying at the Arkanis Naval Academy, Senat passed his examinations well and left promptly, joining service on capital ships as a Lieutenant. Now a Commander, his years of experience have seen him present at several notable engagements, including the Invasion of Eshan and action above Pantora and, most recently, Talay.
A fair and robust command style brings respect from officers, if not some trepidation from NCOs; Oldo has a tendency to follow the rule books and doesn’t quite inspire heroics from his command. Nevertheless, he is a respected and formidable military mind and discharges his duties carefully and with consideration for the lives under him.
He commands the 513th Heavy Attack Line, and uses the Grievous-class Star Destroyer Exigent as his command ship.
He has just been appointed High Marshal of the Bassadro Sector Armada.
